ਕਿਉਬਕ ਨਾਲ ਸਬੰਧਤ ਤਿੰਨ ਕਾਲਜਾ ਵੱਲੋ ਬੈਂਕਰਪਸੀ ਕਰਨ ਤੋਂ ਬਾਅਦ ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥੀਆ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਵਿਰੋਧ ਪ੍ਰਦਰਸ਼ਨ
(Kultaran Singh Padhiana) – After the bankruptcies of three colleges in the Canadian province of Quebec, the future of students (most of them are Indian-origin) is at stake.
Bankruptcy colleges include M-College, CDE and CCSQ. An estimated $22.5 million has been spent on this fraud by students.
In collaboration with some Gurdwara Committees related to Montreal, Students staged a protest in the parking lot of Gurdwara Guru Nanak Darbar. Hundreds of students have joined the protest despite the bitter cold. On this occasion Gurdwara Parbandhak Committees have spoken of providing all possible help to the students.
It is pertinent to mention here that the recognition given to these type of colleges has been questioned before.
(ਕੁਲਤਰਨ ਸਿੰਘ ਪਧਿਆਣਾ) – ਕੈਨੇਡਾ ਦੇ ਸੂਬੇ ਕਿਉਬਕ ਦੇ ਨਾਲ ਸਬੰਧਤ ਤਿੰਨ ਕਾਲਜਾ ਵੱਲੋ ਬੈਂਕਰਪਸੀ ਕਰਨ ਤੋਂ ਬਾਅਦ ਉੱਥੇ ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥੀਆ ਜਿੰਨਾ ਚ ਜਿਆਦਾਤਰ ਭਾਰਤੀ ਮੂਲ ਦੇ ਹਨ ਦਾ ਭਵਿੱਖ ਦਾਅ ਉਤੇ ਲੱਗ ਗਿਆ ਹੈ। ਬੈਂਕਰਪਸੀ ਕਰਨ ਵਾਲੇ ਕਾਲਜਾ ਚ ਐਮ-ਕਾਲਜ , ਸੀਡੀਈ ਅਤੇ ਸੀਸੀਐਸਕਿਉ ਹਨ।
ਇੱਕ ਅੰਦਾਜ਼ੇ ਮੁਤਾਬਕ ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥੀਆ ਦਾ ਕਰੀਬ 22.5 ਮਿਲੀਅਨ ਡਾਲਰ ਇਸ ਫਰਾਡ ਦੀ ਭੇਂਟ ਚੜਿਆ ਹੈ। ਮੌਂਟਰਿਅਲ ਦੇ ਨਾਲ ਸਬੰਧਤ
ਕੁੱਝ ਗੁਰਦੁਆਰਾ ਕਮੇਟੀਆ ਦੇ ਸਹਿਯੋਗ ਨਾਲ ਗੁਰਦੁਆਰਾ ਗੁਰੂ ਨਾਨਕ ਦਰਬਾਰ ਦੀ ਪਾਰਕਿੰਗ ‘ਚ ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥੀਆ ਨੇ ਇੱਕ ਰੋਸ ਮੁਜਾਹਰਾ
ਕੀਤਾ ਹੈ। ਇਸ ਮੁਜਾਹਰੇ ਚ ਹੱਡ ਚੀਰਵੀ ਠੰਡ ਹੋਣ ਦੇ ਬਾਵਜੂਦ ਸੈਂਕੜੇ ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥੀਆ ਵੱਲੋ ਸ਼ਮੂਲੀਅਤ ਕੀਤੀ ਗਈ ਹੈ। ਇਸ ਮੌਕੇ ਗੁਰਦੁਆਰਾ ਪ੍ਰਬੰਧਕ ਕਮੇਟੀਆਂ ਵੱਲੋ ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥੀਆ ਦੀ ਹਰ ਸੰਭਵ ਮੱਦਦ ਕਰਨ ਦੀ ਗੱਲ ਕੀਤੀ ਗਈ ਹੈ।
ਦੱਸਣਯੋਗ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਦੁਕਾਨਾਂ ਰੂਪੀ ਖੁੰਬਾ ਵਾਂਗ ਖੁੱਲੇ ਕਾਲਜਾਂ ਨੁੰ ਦਿੱਤੀਆ ਗਈਆ ਮਾਨਤਾਵਾਂ ‘ਤੇ ਪਹਿਲਾਂ ਵੀ ਸਵਾਲ ਖੜੇ ਹੁੰਦੇ ਰਹੇ ਹਨ।
