Responsibilities:
•Operates and maintains lathe, drill and milling machines.
•Reviews drawings, instructions, blueprints, or samples to ensure accurate production.
•Takes precise measurements for cutting or shaping.
• Selects appropriate machine and settings for a given task.
•Plans proper sequence of tasks to complete the assignment.
•Monitors production, adjusting feed and other settings, as necessary.

Job Description:
The Human Resources Generalist is responsible for supporting the day-to-day operations of the HR department, primarily focusing, and providing HR strategic support to the company. This position will be the first point of contact for employee relations matters, recruitment and performance management functions and will provide support to the management. You will work both independently and on collaborative work in a fast-paced environment. A strong problem solver, you will be a self-starter with strong attention to detail and a passion to learn and grow within the company. You will be reporting to the General Manager, essential job functions and duties include but are not limited to the following:
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Provide consultation and coaching on issues related to employee relations, workforce planning, recruitment and selection, talent and performance management, compensation, and organizational development.
Coordinates and facilitates recruitment activities including pre-screening, testing, scheduling interviews, reference checks and document signing
Monitors employee climate to identify issues/trends; counsel managers on identifying issues and implementing corrective actions, while also seeing opportunities to increase engagement.
Gathers, analyzes, and interprets HR related data for report generation and management decision making
Provides accurate, timely responses to employee and management inquiries regarding policies, employment legislation, benefits, and payroll

Works closely with General Manager to continuously improve the level of HR support provided to the teams through programs
Host employee recognition events, annual holiday event and team spirit events

Partners with Manager of Training, scheduling, and setting up new hire orientation and refresher training.
Handles special projects delegated by the General Manager
Maintains knowledge of applicable employment legislation
Adheres to all health and safety regulations and act as a health safety representative of the management
Maintains any applicable licenses and certifications
Requirements & Qualifications
University degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field
CHRP designation is an asset
2-5 years human resources generalist or equivalent experience in IT industry
