A lawyer from Ontario wanted for a $7.5 million real estate fraud

Peel police are looking for a Mississauga lawyer who is accused of defrauding his clients out of millions of dollars in real estate deals.
Several persons hired 41-year-old Shahid Malik of Shahid Malik Law Office to resolve their real estate affairs between June 2021 and December 2021, according to a news release issued Friday.
Malik allegedly accepted over $7.5 million in trust from victims to pay off their outstanding mortgages, according to police. However, he is accused of ignoring the victims’ demands and failing to make payments with the monies.
“As a result,” authorities stated, “each victim has experienced a major financial loss.”
Malik is now wanted for public fraud and breach of trust, and a warrant has been issued for his arrest.
There could be more victims, according to the police. Investigators are urging them, as well as anyone with information regarding Malik’s whereabouts, to call 905-453-2121.

ਮਲਿਕ ਹੁਣ ਜਨਤਾ ਨਾਲ ਧੋਖਾਧੜੀ ਕਰਨ ਅਤੇ ਭਰੋਸੇ ਦੀ ਉਲੰਘਣਾ ਕਰਨ ਲਈ ਲੋੜੀਂਦਾ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਉਸ ਦੀ ਗ੍ਰਿਫਤਾਰੀ ਲਈ ਵਾਰੰਟ ਜਾਰੀ ਕੀਤਾ ਗਿਆ ਹੈ।
