Driver arrested after found sleeping in a stolen vehicle with a gun: Toronto Police

On Saturday morning, police discovered someone napping in their automobile with a gun on their lap and arrested them.
The incident occurred around 6:08 a.m. in a parking lot near Finch Avenue West and Westmore Drive, according to Toronto police.
The car’s driver was discovered sleeping in a vehicle that had previously been “potentially involved in an accident,” according to authorities. He had a gun in his lap and other firearms were discovered in the vehicle.
The vehicle was also discovered to be stolen, according to police.

ਇੱਕ ਟਵੀਟ ਵਿੱਚ, ਟੋਰਾਂਟੋ ਪੁਲਿਸ ਨੇ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਇਹ ਘਟਨਾ ਫਿੰਚ ਐਵੇਨਿਊ ਵੈਸਟ ਅਤੇ ਵੈਸਟਮੋਰ ਡਰਾਈਵ ਦੇ ਖੇਤਰ ਵਿੱਚ ਇੱਕ ਪਾਰਕਿੰਗ ਵਿੱਚ ਸਵੇਰੇ 6:08 ਵਜੇ ਦੇ ਕਰੀਬ ਵਾਪਰੀ।
ਕਾਰ ਦਾ ਡਰਾਈਵਰ ਇੱਕ ਵਾਹਨ ਵਿੱਚ ਸੁੱਤੇ ਪਾਇਆ ਗਿਆ ਸੀ ਜਿਸ ਬਾਰੇ ਪੁਲਿਸ ਨੇ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ “ਸੰਭਾਵਤ ਤੌਰ ‘ਤੇ ਪਹਿਲਾਂ ਵੀ ਇੱਕ ਟੱਕਰ ਵਿੱਚ ਸ਼ਾਮਲ ਸੀ।” ਪੁਲਿਸ ਨੇ ਦੱਸਿਆ ਕਿ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੀ ਗੋਦ ਵਿੱਚ ਇੱਕ ਬੰਦੂਕ ਸੀ ਅਤੇ ਕਾਰ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ ਹੋਰ ਹਥਿਆਰ ਮਿਲੇ ਹਨ।
ਪੁਲਿਸ ਨੇ ਦੱਸਿਆ ਕਿ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਇਹ ਵੀ ਪਤਾ ਲੱਗਾ ਕਿ ਗੱਡੀ ਚੋਰੀ ਹੋ ਗਈ ਸੀ।
