Boy, 14, charged after allegedly setting off fireworks on GO train

A 14-year-old boy has been charged after fireworks were set off on a GO train in Toronto Thursday night, police say.
Transit agency Metrolinx says it received a report that at around 9:30 p.m., a group of young people set off fireworks from the floor of a cab.
According to Toronto police, two boys, ages 14 and 16, were arrested at Rouge Hill Station by GO Transit Special Constables who were on the scene.
The 16-year-old was reportedly released after further inquiry, while the 14-year-old was charged with mischief under a 5,000 fine.

ਰਾਤ ਕਰੀਬ 9:30 ਵਜੇ, ਟਰਾਂਜ਼ਿਟ ਏਜੰਸੀ ਮੇਟ੍ਰੋਲਿੰਕਸ ਦਾ ਕਹਿਣਾ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਉਸਨੂੰ ਇੱਕ ਰਿਪੋਰਟ ਮਿਲੀ ਸੀ ਕਿ ਨੌਜਵਾਨਾਂ ਦੇ ਇੱਕ ਸਮੂਹ ਨੇ ਵੀਰਵਾਰ ਰਾਤ ਨੂੰ ਇੱਕ ਕੈਬ ਦੇ ਫਰਸ਼ ਤੇ ਪਟਾਕੇ ਚਲਾਏ।
ਟੋਰਾਂਟੋ ਪੁਲਿਸ ਦਾ ਕਹਿਣਾ ਹੈ ਕਿ GO Transit ਸਪੈਸ਼ਲ ਕਾਂਸਟੇਬਲ ਮੌਕੇ ‘ਤੇ ਸਨ ਅਤੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ ਰੂਜ ਹਿੱਲ ਸਟੇਸ਼ਨ ਤੋਂ ਇੱਕ 14 ਸਾਲਾ ਲੜਕੇ ਅਤੇ 16 ਸਾਲ ਦੇ ਲੜਕੇ ਨੂੰ ਗ੍ਰਿਫਤਾਰ ਕਰ ਲਿਆ।
ਅੱਗੇ ਦੀ ਜਾਂਚ ਤੋਂ ਬਾਅਦ, ਪੁਲਿਸ ਨੇ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ 16 ਸਾਲ ਦੇ ਬੱਚੇ ਨੂੰ ਛੱਡ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਗਿਆ ਸੀ ਅਤੇ 14 ਸਾਲ ਦੇ ਬੱਚੇ ‘ਤੇ $ 5,000 ਜੁਰਮਾਨੇ ਦੇ ਤਹਿਤ ਸ਼ਰਾਰਤ ਦਾ ਦੋਸ਼ ਲਗਾਇਆ ਗਿਆ।
