Durham MPP Lindsey Park removed from her role after misrepresenting vaccination status

TORONTO, ON- After falsifying her COVID-19 vaccination status, a Progressive Conservative MPP was removed from her role.
Lindsey Park, the MPP for Durham, will no longer function as the attorney general’s parliamentary secretary, according to a statement made by the Government House Leader on Friday evening.
In August, PC MPPs were given a deadline to present proof of full COVID-19 vaccination or submit a declaration signed by a physician medically exempting them from vaccination.
Those who do not comply will be kicked out of caucus.
At the time, 69 of the 71 PC MPPs had apparently received their vaccinations, including Premier Doug Ford.
Rick Nicholls, MPP for Chatham-Kent-Leamington, declined to get vaccinated for personal reasons while facing expulsion. Ford kicked him out of the PC caucus as a result.
There are just two recognised medical grounds for not getting vaccinated, according to the Ontario Ministry of Health.
The first is an individual’s allergic reaction to a vaccine component, which must be confirmed by an allergist or immunologist.
The second scenario would be if a person developed myocarditis or pericarditis after receiving the first dose of a vaccination.

ਪੀਸੀ ਐਮਪੀਪੀਜ਼ ਨੂੰ ਦਸਤਾਵੇਜ਼ ਮੁਹੱਈਆ ਕਰਾਉਣ ਲਈ ਅਗਸਤ ਵਿੱਚ ਇੱਕ ਸਮਾਂ ਸੀਮਾ ਦਿੱਤੀ ਗਈ ਸੀ ਕਿ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਕੋਵਿਡ -19 ਦੇ ਵਿਰੁੱਧ ਪੂਰੀ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਟੀਕਾ ਲਗਾਇਆ ਗਿਆ ਹੈ ਜਾਂ ਇੱਕ ਡਾਕਟਰ ਦੁਆਰਾ ਹਸਤਾਖਰ ਕੀਤੇ ਬਿਆਨ ਜਮ੍ਹਾਂ ਕਰਾਉਣੇ ਚਾਹੀਦੇ ਹਨ ਜੋ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਟੀਕੇ ਤੋਂ ਛੋਟ ਦਿੰਦੇ ਹਨ।

ਪਾਰਕ ਨੂੰ 2018 ਦੀਆਂ ਸੂਬਾਈ ਚੋਣਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਅਹੁਦੇ ਲਈ ਚੁਣਿਆ ਗਿਆ ਸੀ ਅਤੇ ਕੁਝ ਸਮੇਂ ਬਾਅਦ ਅਟਾਰਨੀ ਜਨਰਲ ਦੇ ਸੰਸਦੀ ਸਕੱਤਰ ਵਜੋਂ ਨਿਯੁਕਤ ਕੀਤਾ ਗਿਆ ਸੀ।
