During Ayahuasca ceremony in Mississauga, 26-year-old woman sexually assaulted

Peel Regional Police say a 54-year-old man was arrested and charged after a woman claimed she was sexually assaulted during an Ayahuasca ritual inside a Mississauga condominium last year.
According to investigators, the woman attended the wedding in a Hurontario Street and Lakeshore Road residence in December 2020.
She was sexually abused, although she was unharmed physically.
Ayahuasca is a hallucinogenic drink created by Indigenous people living in the Amazon rainforest region of South America and drank during spiritual ceremonies.
Its use frequently causes hallucinations and other out-of-body experiences.
Mario Restrepo, of Fonthill, Ont., was detained and charged with one count of sexual assault, according to police.
In November, he will appear in court in Brampton.
Restrepo’s photo was published by investigators, who also stated that there may be other victims who have not yet come forward.

ਜਾਂਚਕਰਤਾਵਾਂ ਦਾ ਕਹਿਣਾ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਔਰਤ ਨੇ ਦਸੰਬਰ 2020 ਵਿੱਚ ਹੁਰਾਂਤਰਿਓ ਸਟਰੀਟ ਅਤੇ ਲੇਕੇਸ਼ੋਰ ਰੋਡ ਖੇਤਰ ਦੇ ਇੱਕ ਅਪਾਰਟਮੈਂਟ ਵਿੱਚ ਸਮਾਰੋਹ ਵਿੱਚ ਸ਼ਿਰਕਤ ਕੀਤੀ। ਉਸ ਦਾ ਜਿਨਸੀ ਸ਼ੋਸ਼ਣ ਕੀਤਾ ਗਿਆ।
ਪੁਲਿਸ ਦਾ ਕਹਿਣਾ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਇੱਕ ਆਦਮੀ ਜਿਸਦੀ ਪਛਾਣ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ ਓਨਟਾਰੀਓ ਦੇ ਮਾਰੀਓ ਰੈਸਟਰੇਪੋ ਵਜੋਂ ਕੀਤੀ ਨੂੰ ਗ੍ਰਿਫਤਾਰ ਕੀਤਾ ਗਿਆ ਸੀ ਅਤੇ ਜਿਨਸੀ ਸ਼ੋਸ਼ਣ ਦੇ ਇੱਕ ਮਾਮਲੇ ਦੇ ਨਾਲ ਚਾਰਜ ਕੀਤਾ ਗਿਆ।

ਜਾਣਕਾਰੀ ਵਾਲੇ ਕਿਸੇ ਵੀ ਵਿਅਕਤੀ ਨੂੰ ਵਿਸ਼ੇਸ਼ ਵਿਕਟਮਸ ਯੂਨਿਟ ਨੂੰ 905-453–2121 ‘ਤੇ ਕਾਲ ਕਰਨ ਲਈ ਕਿਹਾ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ।
