Heat warnings for most of Ontario, including some northern areas

Today, a heat warning is in effect for a substantial portion of Ontario, including some northern areas.
With temperatures predicted to reach or above 30 C, Environment Canada has issued advisories for a section of the province extending from Prescott and Russell to Windsor.
In certain places, the humidex may make it seem as hot as 40 C.
Heat advisories are in effect in northern Ontario’s Greater Sudbury Area, North Bay, Sault Ste. Marie, and Elliot Lake.
Severe thunderstorm watches are in effect for some other locations, such as Thunder Bay and Kenora.

ਉੱਤਰੀ ਓਨਟਾਰੀਓ ਵਿੱਚ, ਗ੍ਰੇਟਰ ਸਡਬਰੀ ਖੇਤਰ, ਉੱਤਰੀ ਖਾੜੀ, ਸੌਲਟ ਸਟੀ ਮੈਰੀ ਅਤੇ ਇਲੀਅਟ ਝੀਲ ਵਿੱਚ ਗਰਮੀ ਦੀਆਂ ਚੇਤਾਵਨੀਆਂ ਲਾਗੂ ਹਨ।
ਥੰਡਰ ਬੇ ਅਤੇ ਕੇਨੋਰਾ ਸਮੇਤ ਹੋਰ ਖੇਤਰ ਗੰਭੀਰ ਤੂਫਾਨ ਦੀ ਚੇਤਾਵਨੀ ਹੇਠ ਹਨ।
ਮੌਸਮ ਏਜੰਸੀ ਦਾ ਕਹਿਣਾ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਦੱਖਣੀ ਓਨਟਾਰੀਓ ਦੇ ਕੁਝ ਹਿੱਸਿਆਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਪੰਜ ਦਿਨਾਂ ਤੱਕ ਗਰਮੀ ਜਾਰੀ ਰਹਿ ਸਕਦੀ ਹੈ, ਹਾਲਾਂਕਿ ਕਈਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਵੀਰਵਾਰ ਤੱਕ ਕੁਝ ਰਾਹਤ ਮਿਲੇਗੀ।
