Long security queues reported at Pearson Airport

Passengers travelling from Toronto Pearson Airport should “pack their patience,” as long security waits were reported on Monday.
The Greater Toronto Airports Authority (GTAA) claimed in a statement that passengers have been facing “longer than usual wait times at CATSA security screening points.”
The message said, “We’ve been working with our partners at CATSA to regulate the flow of passengers as best we can.”
Employees at the GTAA are “trying their utmost” to get passengers through.
The message read, “We kindly ask passengers to treat employees with respect.”

ਟੋਰਾਂਟੋ ਪੀਅਰਸਨ ਹਵਾਈ ਅੱਡੇ ਤੋਂ ਰਵਾਨਾ ਹੋਣ ਵਾਲੇ ਯਾਤਰੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਸੋਮਵਾਰ ਨੂੰ ਸੁਰੱਖਿਆ ਲਈ ਲੰਬੀਆਂ ਲਾਈਨਾਂ ਦੇ ਨਾਲ “ਸਬਰ ਰੱਖਣ” ਦੀ ਸਲਾਹ ਦਿੱਤੀ ਜਾ ਰਹੀ ਹੈ।
ਗ੍ਰੇਟਰ ਟੋਰਾਂਟੋ ਏਅਰਪੋਰਟ ਅਥਾਰਟੀ (GTAA) ਨੇ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਯਾਤਰੀ “CATSA ਸੁਰੱਖਿਆ ਸਕ੍ਰੀਨਿੰਗ ਪੁਆਇੰਟਾਂ ‘ਤੇ ਉਮੀਦ ਤੋਂ ਵੱਧ ਉਡੀਕ” ਦਾ ਅਨੁਭਵ ਕਰ ਰਹੇ ਹਨ।
ਬਿਆਨ ਵਿੱਚ ਕਿਹਾ ਗਿਆ ਹੈ, “ਅਸੀਂ ਯਾਤਰੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਜਿੰਨਾ ਸੰਭਵ ਹੋ ਸਕੇ ਪ੍ਰਬੰਧਿਤ ਕਰਨ ਲਈ CATSA ਵਿੱਚ ਆਪਣੇ ਭਾਈਵਾਲਾਂ ਨਾਲ ਕੰਮ ਕਰ ਰਹੇ ਹਾਂ।”
ਜੀਟੀਏਏ ਨੇ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਕਰਮਚਾਰੀ ਯਾਤਰੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਲੰਘਣ ਲਈ “ਆਪਣੀ ਪੂਰੀ ਕੋਸ਼ਿਸ਼” ਕਰ ਰਹੇ ਹਨ।
