Patrick Brown seeking re-election in municipal election

Brampton, Ont., Mayor Patrick Brown says, he will be seeking re-election in October’s municipal election
Alongside his wife Genevieve Gualtieri-Brown and their two children Brown filed his papers in Brampton on Monday.
Brown said it has been “the greatest privilege” to serve as the city’s mayor for the last four years, adding that his team has “done a lot of great work together at city hall.”
Brown said he is “looking forward” to four more years and said he is “excited” for the challenges ahead.

ਬ੍ਰਾਊਨ ਨੇ ਸੋਮਵਾਰ ਨੂੰ ਆਪਣੀ ਪਤਨੀ ਅਤੇ ਆਪਣੇ ਦੋ ਬੱਚਿਆਂ ਦੇ ਨਾਲ ਬਰੈਂਪਟਨ ਵਿੱਚ ਆਪਣੇ ਕਾਗਜ਼ ਦਾਖਲ ਕੀਤੇ।
ਬ੍ਰਾਊਨ ਨੇ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਪਿਛਲੇ ਚਾਰ ਸਾਲਾਂ ਤੋਂ ਸ਼ਹਿਰ ਦੇ ਮੇਅਰ ਵਜੋਂ ਸੇਵਾ ਕਰਨਾ “ਸਭ ਤੋਂ ਵੱਡਾ ਸਨਮਾਨ” ਰਿਹਾ ਹੈ, ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੀ ਟੀਮ ਨੇ “ਸਿਟੀ ਹਾਲ ਵਿੱਚ ਮਿਲ ਕੇ ਬਹੁਤ ਵਧੀਆ ਕੰਮ ਕੀਤਾ ਹੈ।”
ਬ੍ਰਾਊਨ ਨੇ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਉਹ ਚਾਰ ਹੋਰ ਸਾਲਾਂ ਲਈ ਆਉਣ ਵਾਲੀਆਂ ਚੁਣੌਤੀਆਂ ਲਈ “ਉਤਸ਼ਾਹਿਤ” ਹੈ।
