Thousands without power in Ontario after thunderstorms

Strong thunderstorms that ripped through most of southern Ontario have left thousands of people without electricity.
Environment Canada issued a severe thunderstorm warning for parts of the Greater Toronto Area on Sunday night, including Toronto.
According to the weather service, the GTA could experience wind gusts of up to 70 km/h and rainfall ranging from 50 to 75 millimetres.
All alerts ended for the GTA shortly before 11 p.m. following a burst of lightning and intense rainfall.

ਮੌਸਮ ਏਜੰਸੀ ਨੇ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਜੀਟੀਏ 50 ਤੋਂ 75 ਮਿਲੀਮੀਟਰ ਮੀਂਹ ਅਤੇ 70 ਕਿਲੋਮੀਟਰ ਪ੍ਰਤੀ ਘੰਟਾ ਦੀ ਰਫ਼ਤਾਰ ਨਾਲ ਹਵਾ ਦੇ ਝੱਖੜ ਦੇਖ ਸਕਦਾ ਹੈ।
ਬਿਜਲੀ ਚਮਕਣ ਅਤੇ ਤੇਜ਼ ਬਾਰਿਸ਼ ਦੇ ਬਾਅਦ ਰਾਤ 11 ਵਜੇ ਤੋਂ ਥੋੜ੍ਹੀ ਦੇਰ ਪਹਿਲਾਂ GTA ਲਈ ਸਾਰੀਆਂ ਚਿਤਾਵਨੀਆਂ ਖਤਮ ਹੋ ਗਈਆਂ।
