Two dead after a dump truck collided with a Toyota Corolla in York Region

Two persons were murdered in a deadly crash in York Region on Saturday morning, and police are looking for witnesses.
At around 8:45 a.m., York Regional Police’s major collisions section responded to a crash in the Town of Whitchurch-Stouffville. Warden Avenue and Stouffville Road were the sites of the event.
A dump truck with a trailer collided with a Toyota Corolla carrying two persons, according to police. Both the driver and the passenger of the Toyota were pronounced deceased at the spot.
According to police, the truck driver suffered minor injuries and was brought to the hospital.

ਯੌਰਕ ਰੀਜਨਲ ਪੁਲਿਸ ਦੀ ਪ੍ਰਮੁੱਖ ਟੱਕਰ ਯੂਨਿਟ ਨੇ ਸਵੇਰੇ 8:45 ਵਜੇ ਦੇ ਕਰੀਬ ਵਿਚਰਚ-ਸਟੌਫਵਿਲ ਦੇ ਕਸਬੇ ਵਿੱਚ ਇੱਕ ਕਰੈਸ਼ ਦਾ ਜਵਾਬ ਦਿੱਤਾ। ਇਹ ਘਟਨਾ ਵਾਰਡਨ ਐਵੇਨਿਊ ਅਤੇ ਸਟੌਫਵਿਲ ਰੋਡ ਦੇ ਖੇਤਰ ਵਿੱਚ ਵਾਪਰੀ।
ਪੁਲਿਸ ਨੇ ਦੱਸਿਆ ਕਿ ਟਰੇਲਰ ਨੂੰ ਖਿੱਚ ਰਿਹਾ ਇੱਕ ਡੰਪ ਟਰੱਕ ਟੋਇਟਾ ਕੋਰੋਲਾ ਨਾਲ ਟਕਰਾ ਗਿਆ ਜਿਸ ਵਿੱਚ ਦੋ ਲੋਕ ਸਵਾਰ ਸਨ। ਟੋਇਟਾ ਦੇ ਡਰਾਈਵਰ ਅਤੇ ਯਾਤਰੀ ਦੋਵਾਂ ਦੀ ਮੌਕੇ ‘ਤੇ ਹੀ ਮੌਤ ਹੋ ਗਈ।
ਪੁਲਿਸ ਨੇ ਦੱਸਿਆ ਕਿ ਟਰੱਕ ਡਰਾਈਵਰ ਨੂੰ ਮਾਮੂਲੀ ਸੱਟਾਂ ਲੱਗੀਆਂ ਅਤੇ ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਹਸਪਤਾਲ ਲਿਜਾਇਆ ਗਿਆ।
ਪੁਲਿਸ ਕਿਸੇ ਵੀ ਵਿਅਕਤੀ ਨੂੰ ਜਾਣਕਾਰੀ ਜਾਂ ਡੈਸ਼ਕੈਮ ਫੁਟੇਜ ਨਾਲ ਅੱਗੇ ਆਉਣ ਦੀ ਅਪੀਲ ਕਰ ਰਹੀ ਹੈ। ਪੁਲਿਸ ਖਾਸ ਤੌਰ ‘ਤੇ “ਟਕਰਾਉਣ ਤੋਂ ਪਹਿਲਾਂ ਡਰਾਈਵਿੰਗ ਵਿਵਹਾਰ” ਬਾਰੇ ਜਾਣਕਾਰੀ ਵਾਲੇ ਕਿਸੇ ਵੀ ਵਿਅਕਤੀ ਦੀ ਭਾਲ ਕਰ ਰਹੀ ਹੈ।
