Shooting in Mexican resort; two Canadians killed, one injured

Mexico (AP) – According to state police, two Canadians were murdered and one was injured in a shooting at a hotel along Mexico’s Caribbean coast on Friday.
State security chief Lucio Hernández of Quintana Roo claimed on Twitter that investigators were looking for a Hotel Xcaret guest involved in the shooting. He posted a photo of a man walking along the street with a firearm.
Local officials stated on Jan. 21, 2022, that authorities in Mexico are looking for a man who is suspected of shooting three Canadians at a hotel near Playa del Carmen, two of whom have died.
All three victims were transferred to a hospital, but two of them died, according to authorities.

ਕੁਇੰਟਾਨਾ ਰੂ ਰਾਜ ਦੇ ਸੁਰੱਖਿਆ ਮੁਖੀ ਲੂਸੀਓ ਹਰਨਾਡੇਜ਼ ਨੇ ਟਵਿੱਟਰ ਰਾਹੀਂ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਅਧਿਕਾਰੀ ਗੋਲੀਬਾਰੀ ਵਿੱਚ ਇੱਕ ਹੋਟਲ ਐਕਸਕਾਰਟ ਮਹਿਮਾਨ ਦੀ ਭਾਲ ਕਰ ਰਹੇ ਸਨ। ਉਸ ਨੇ ਹੈਂਡਗਨ ਲੈ ਕੇ ਤੁਰਦੇ ਹੋਏ ਇਕ ਵਿਅਕਤੀ ਦੀ ਫੋਟੋ ਸਾਂਝੀ ਕੀਤੀ ਹੈ।
ਮੈਕਸੀਕੋ ਵਿੱਚ ਅਧਿਕਾਰੀ ਇੱਕ ਸ਼ੱਕੀ ਵਿਅਕਤੀ ਦੀ ਭਾਲ ਕਰ ਰਹੇ ਹਨ, ਜਿਸ ਨੇ ਮੰਨਿਆ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਪਲੇਆ ਡੇਲ ਕਾਰਮੇਨ ਦੇ ਨੇੜੇ ਇੱਕ ਹੋਟਲ ਵਿੱਚ ਤਿੰਨ ਕੈਨੇਡੀਅਨਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਗੋਲੀ ਮਾਰ ਦਿੱਤੀ ਗਈ ਹੈ, ਜਿਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ ਦੋ ਦੀ ਮੌਤ ਹੋ ਗਈ ਹੈ, ਸਥਾਨਕ ਅਧਿਕਾਰੀਆਂ ਨੇ ਪੁਸ਼ਟੀ ਕੀਤੀ।
ਅਧਿਕਾਰੀਆਂ ਨੇ ਦੱਸਿਆ ਕਿ ਤਿੰਨੋਂ ਪੀੜਤਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਹਸਪਤਾਲ ਲਿਜਾਇਆ ਗਿਆ, ਪਰ ਦੋ ਦੀ ਮੌਤ ਹੋ ਗਈ।
