US blacklists 12 Chinese companies
ਅਮਰੀਕਾ ਨੇ 12 ਚੀਨ ਕੰਪਨੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਕੀਤਾ ਬਲੈਕ ਲਿਸਟ
Washington: The United States has blacklisted 27 foreign companies for security reasons. Among the banned companies are 12 Chinese companies. Apart from Chinese companies, these include companies from Pakistan, Russia, Japan and Singapore. The United States has cited national security concerns as the reason for the move.
US Secretary of Commerce Gina M. Raymondo has said that world trade is not about risking national security but about supporting peace, prosperity and well-paying jobs. The move would put an end to Pakistan’s insecure nuclear program with the help of US technology. Companies helping to modernize the Chinese military have also been banned.

ਵਾਸ਼ਿੰਗਟਨ: ਅਮਰੀਕਾ ਨੇ ਸੁਰੱਖਿਆ ਕਾਰਨਾਂ ਕਰ ਕੇ 27 ਵਿਦੇਸ਼ੀ ਕੰਪਨੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਬਲੈਕ ਲਿਸਟ ਕੀਤਾ।ਤੇ ਜਿਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਕੰਪਨੀਆਂ ਤੇ ਪਾਬੰਦੀ ਲਗਾਈ ਗਈ ਹੈ, ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਚੀਨ ਦੀਆਂ 12 ਕੰਪਨੀਆਂ ਸ਼ਾਮਲ ਹਨ। ਇਨ੍ਹਾਂ ‘ਚ ਚੀਨੀ ਕੰਪਨੀਆਂ ਤੋਂ ਇਲਾਵਾ ਪਾਕਿਸਤਾਨ, ਰੂਸ, ਜਾਪਾਨ ਅਤੇ ਸਿੰਗਾਪੁਰ ਦੀਆਂ ਕੰਪਨੀਆਂ ਸ਼ਾਮਲ ਹਨ। ਅਮਰੀਕਾ ਨੇ ਇਸ ਕਦਮ ਦਾ ਕਾਰਨ ਰਾਸ਼ਟਰੀ ਸੁਰੱਖਿਆ ਚਿੰਤਾਵਾਂ ਦਾ ਹਵਾਲਾ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਹੈ।
ਅਮਰੀਕਾ ਦੇ ਵਣਜ ਸਕੱਤਰ ਜੀਨਾ ਐਮ ਰੇਮੋਂਡੋ ਨੇ ਕਿਹਾ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਵਿਸ਼ਵ ਵਪਾਰ ਰਾਸ਼ਟਰੀ ਸੁਰੱਖਿਆ ਦੇ ਮਾਮਲਿਆਂ ‘ਚ ਜੋਖਮ ਉਠਾਉਣ ਬਾਰੇ ਨਹੀਂ ਹੈ ਸਗੋ ਸ਼ਾਂਤੀ, ਖੁਸ਼ਹਾਲੀ ਤੇ ਚੰਗੀ ਤਨਖਾਹ ਵਾਲੀਆਂ ਨੌਕਰੀਆਂ ਦਾ ਸਮਰਥਨ ਕਰਨਾ ਹੈ। ਇਹ ਕਦਮ ਅਮਰੀਕੀ ਤਕਨੀਕ ਦੀ ਮਦਦ ਨਾਲ ਪਾਕਿਸਤਾਨ ਦੇ ਅਸੁਰੱਖਿਅਤ ਪਰਮਾਣੂ ਪ੍ਰੋਗਰਾਮ ਨੂੰ ਖਤਮ ਕਰ ਦੇਵੇਗਾ। ਚੀਨੀ ਫੌਜ ਨੂੰ ਆਧੁਨਿਕ ਬਣਾਉਣ ਵਿੱਚ ਮਦਦ ਕਰਨ ਵਾਲੀਆਂ ਕੰਪਨੀਆਂ ਤੇ ਵੀ ਪਾਬੰਦੀ ਲਗਾਈ ਗਈ ਹੈ।
