(Satpal Singh Johal) – Welcome to another day with mild temperatures in Brampton, Mississauga, Caledon, and neighboring cities.
*It is important to note that it is against school policy to have a third-party food delivery (Uber Eats, Door Dash, Skip the Dishes) arrive at the school.
*Students should bring their lunch (not necessarily a cell phone!) from home to school. Students must not leave school property for lunch.
*An information session for university success for Louise Arbor Secondary School students and parents will be held in the school cafeteria (at 365 Father Tobin Road in Brampton’s Ward 9) on February 22, 2024, from 5.30 to 6.30 pm. *Trust is good, but control works better! Parents at home must, at all times make sure (supervise) that kids are learning and doing their homework with the help of their computer, phone, internet, and social media.
*Safe and Sensible use of Social Media experts in Canada say, it does not matter what platform (chat group) over the internet children use, parents must know what their kids are doing over the internet and apps.
*If a weapon (gun, knife) and/or drugs are recovered from a student in the school, a strict disciplinary action (expulsion) must follow, and police are involved to keep other students and staff safe.
* PDSB’s Regional programs (RLCP) are available for all elementary and secondary students who meet the criteria for acceptance. Today, February 7 (until 3 pm) is the last day for grade 5 students to apply for 2024-2025 RLCP school year.
