ਵਾਹਿਗੁਰੂ ਜੀ: Brampton East MPP Hardeep Grewal’s two vehicles have reportedly been stolen from his home in less than the past two weeks.

– Current police reports are showing a jump in vehicle thefts in Canada. An auto is stolen every around 50 minutes in this country.

– Since 2014, a 72 percent rise in vehicle theft has been recorded in Ontario. 14 percent more motor vehicles are stolen in 2023 than in 2022.

– Peel Police data shows around 86 percent increase in vehicle thefts in Brampton and Mississauga from 2020 to 2022. 3127 autos were stolen in 2020 and this number jumped to 5806 during the last year.

– To prevent thefts, Peel police give the following safety tips for residents in Brampton and Mississauga:
