Ontario reported 10,436 additional COVID-19 cases, 3 more deaths

On Wednesday, health officials in Ontario reported a record-breaking 10,436 new cases of COVID-19.
The number of new cases recorded in the province during the last seven days has averaged 9,183. That figure was 3,520 this time last week, and 1,514 two weeks ago.
The province had 8,825 instances on Tuesday, 9,418 cases on Monday, 9,826 cases on Sunday, and a then-record 10,412 cases on Saturday, according to the report.
Given the unavailability of PCR tests, health experts believe Ontario’s recent high case figures are likely an underestimate.
The Ministry of Health reported that Ontario’s positivity rate is now 26.9%, the highest it’s ever been, after 59,259 tests were processed on Tuesday.
In the last 24 hours, three more deaths linked to COVID-19 have been reported, bringing the total number of COVID-19 deaths in Ontario to 10,171.

ਸੂਬੇ ਵਿੱਚ ਰਿਪੋਰਟ ਕੀਤੇ ਗਏ ਕੇਸਾਂ ਦੀ ਸੱਤ ਦਿਨਾਂ ਦੀ ਔਸਤ 9,183 ਹੈ। ਇਸ ਵਾਰ ਪਿਛਲੇ ਹਫ਼ਤੇ ਇਹ ਗਿਣਤੀ 3,520 ਸੀ ਅਤੇ ਦੋ ਹਫ਼ਤੇ ਪਹਿਲਾਂ ਇਹ 1,514 ਸੀ।
ਬੁੱਧਵਾਰ ਦੀ ਰਿਪੋਰਟ ਸੂਬੇ ਵਿੱਚ ਮੰਗਲਵਾਰ ਨੂੰ 8,825, ਸੋਮਵਾਰ ਨੂੰ 9,418, ਐਤਵਾਰ ਨੂੰ 9,826 ਕੇਸ ਅਤੇ ਸ਼ਨੀਵਾਰ ਨੂੰ 10,412 ਕੇਸ ਦਰਜ ਕੀਤੇ ਜਾਣ ਤੋਂ ਬਾਅਦ ਆਈ।
ਸਿਹਤ ਮਾਹਰਾਂ ਨੇ ਕਿਹਾ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਹਾਲ ਹੀ ਦੇ ਦਿਨਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਓਨਟਾਰੀਓ ਵਿੱਚ ਉੱਚ ਕੇਸਾਂ ਦੀ ਗਿਣਤੀ ਪੀਸੀਆਰ ਟੈਸਟਾਂ ਦੀ ਘਾਟ ਦੇ ਮੱਦੇਨਜ਼ਰ ਇੱਕ ਘੱਟ ਅਨੁਮਾਨ ਹੈ।
ਪਿਛਲੇ 24 ਘੰਟਿਆਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਕੋਵਿਡ-19 ਨਾਲ ਸਬੰਧਤ ਤਿੰਨ ਹੋਰ ਮੌਤਾਂ ਦਰਜ ਕੀਤੀਆਂ ਗਈਆਂ ਹਨ, ਜਿਸ ਨਾਲ ਓਨਟਾਰੀਓ ਵਿੱਚ ਕੋਵਿਡ-19 ਨਾਲ ਮਰਨ ਵਾਲਿਆਂ ਦੀ ਗਿਣਤੀ 10,171 ਹੋ ਗਈ ਹੈ।
