Man charged after armed carjacking in Etobicoke
ਈਟੋਬੀਕੋਕ ਵਿੱਚ ਇੱਕ ਵਿਅਕਤੀ ‘ਤੇ ਹਥਿਆਰਬੰਦ ਕਾਰਜੈਕਿੰਗ ਤੋਂ ਬਾਅਦ ਲਗਾਏ ਦੋਸ਼
After an armed carjacking in Etobicoke earlier this month, a 24-year-old man has been charged.
Police report that on July 22, a guy, 39, was sitting in a parked car with a companion near Dixon and Scarlett streets when a stranger entered the back seat.
The victim alleges the man threatened her with a gun and demanded her property.
According to police, the suspect drove off in a stolen car.
Eysayah Davis, a resident of Toronto, is accused of numerous offences in connection with the carjacking, including robbery with a firearm, carrying a concealed weapon, and disguising oneself with the intent to commit an offence.
The charges have not been proven in court.

ਜਾਂਚਕਰਤਾਵਾਂ ਦੇ ਅਨੁਸਾਰ, ਇੱਕ 39 ਸਾਲਾ ਵਿਅਕਤੀ 22 ਜੁਲਾਈ ਨੂੰ ਸਕਾਰਲੇਟ ਅਤੇ ਡਿਕਸਨ ਸੜਕਾਂ ਦੇ ਨੇੜੇ ਇੱਕ ਦੋਸਤ ਨਾਲ ਪਾਰਕ ਕੀਤੀ ਕਾਰ ਵਿੱਚ ਬੈਠਾ ਸੀ ਜਦੋਂ ਇੱਕ ਅਣਪਛਾਤਾ ਵਿਅਕਤੀ ਪਿਛਲੀ ਸੀਟ ‘ਤੇ ਆ ਗਿਆ।
ਵਿਅਕਤੀ ਨੇ ਕਥਿਤ ਤੌਰ ‘ਤੇ ਪੀੜਤਾ ਵੱਲ ਬੰਦੂਕ ਦਾ ਇਸ਼ਾਰਾ ਕੀਤਾ ਅਤੇ ਉਸ ਦੀ ਜਾਇਦਾਦ ਦੀ ਮੰਗ ਕੀਤੀ।
ਪੁਲਿਸ ਦਾ ਕਹਿਣਾ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਸ਼ੱਕੀ ਚੋਰੀ ਦੀ ਕਾਰ ਵਿਚ ਇਲਾਕੇ ਤੋਂ ਫਰਾਰ ਹੋ ਗਿਆ।
ਟੋਰਾਂਟੋ ਨਿਵਾਸੀ Eysayah Davis ‘ਤੇ ਕਾਰਜੈਕਿੰਗ ਦੇ ਸਬੰਧ ਵਿਚ ਕਈ ਅਪਰਾਧਾਂ ਦੇ ਦੋਸ਼ ਲਗਾਏ ਗਏ ਹਨ, ਜਿਸ ਵਿਚ ਬੰਦੂਕ ਨਾਲ ਲੁੱਟ, ਇਕ ਛੁਪੇ ਹੋਏ ਹਥਿਆਰ ਅਤੇ ਭੇਸ ਬਦਲਣਾ ਸ਼ਾਮਲ ਹੈ।
