Mark Saunders, a former Toronto police chief, will run as PC candidate

Mark Saunders, the former Toronto police chief, will run as a Progressive Conservative candidate in the Ontario election.
He will run for the Don Valley West constituency in Ontario, according to the Ontario PC Party.
Before retiring in 2020, Saunders served as the police chief of Toronto for five years.
In a statement released Tuesday, PC Leader Doug Ford stated, “There is no one I’d prefer have on the ballot in Don Valley West than Mark.”

ਓਨਟਾਰੀਓ ਪੀਸੀ ਪਾਰਟੀ ਨੇ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਉਹ ਡੌਨ ਵੈਲੀ ਵੈਸਟ ਲਈ ਉਮੀਦਵਾਰ ਹੋਣਗੇ।
ਸਾਂਡਰਸ 2020 ਵਿੱਚ ਸੇਵਾਮੁਕਤ ਹੋਣ ਤੋਂ ਪਹਿਲਾਂ ਪੰਜ ਸਾਲ ਟੋਰਾਂਟੋ ਦੇ ਪੁਲਿਸ ਮੁਖੀ ਸਨ।
ਪੀਸੀ ਲੀਡਰ ਡੱਗ ਫੋਰਡ ਨੇ ਮੰਗਲਵਾਰ ਨੂੰ ਇੱਕ ਬਿਆਨ ਵਿੱਚ ਕਿਹਾ, “ਡਾਨ ਵੈਲੀ ਵੈਸਟ ਵਿੱਚ ਮਾਰਕ ਤੋਂ ਬਿਨਾ ਕੋਈ ਵੀ ਅਜਿਹਾ ਨਹੀਂ ਹੈ ਜਿਸਨੂੰ ਮੈਂ ਸ਼ਾਮਲ ਕਰਾਂਗਾ।
