ਟਰੰਪ ਵਿਰੁੱਧ ਪ੍ਰਦਰਸ਼ਨ : ਪ੍ਰਦਰਸ਼ਨਕਾਰੀਆਂ ਨੇ ਦੋਸ਼ ਲਗਾਇਆ ਕਿ ਡੋਨਾਲਡ ਟਰੰਪ ਇੱਕ ਲੋਕਤੰਤਰੀ ਰਾਸ਼ਟਰਪਤੀ ਨਹੀਂ, ਸਗੋਂ ਇੱਕ ਰਾਜੇ ਵਾਂਗ ਹਕੂਮਤ ਕਰ ਰਹੇ ਹਨ। CNN ਅਨੁਸਾਰ, ਇਸ ਵਾਰ ਜੂਨ ਨਾਲੋਂ 20 ਲੱਖ ਵੱਧ ਲੋਕ ਸੜਕਾਂ ‘ਤੇ ਉਤਰੇ।

Trump protests 2025:

In a historic wave of dissent, more than 7 million people across 2,700 cities in the United States took to the streets on Saturday to protest against Donald Trump’s policies and what they described as his authoritarian leadership style.

The massive nationwide demonstrations, dubbed “No Kings Day”, saw participants from both urban and rural America. Protesters accused Trump of acting like a monarch rather than a democratically elected president.

Trump protests 2025 : According to ANI and CNN, this protest drew nearly two million more people than the previous “No Kings” rallies held in June.

Peaceful Demonstrations Across States

Authorities reported that the protests were largely peaceful, with no major arrests or violence, even as the U.S. government remains shut down amid political tensions.

Democratic leaders strongly supported the protests, saying they reflect a growing movement to defend democracy. Congressman Chris Murphy stated that such rallies encourage marginalized voices to be heard.

In Times Square, New York, thousands gathered holding signs reading “I pledge no loyalty to any king.”

Creative Resistance

Many protesters wore satirical costumes and frog-shaped outfits, mocking Trump’s claim that demonstrators were “extremists.” Organizers said over 600 additional protests were held in small towns and rural regions this year.

In Atlanta, thousands condemned Trump’s immigration policies and political interference. Even in traditionally pro-Trump states like Kentucky, citizens joined the protests waving American flags outside courthouses.

Trump Responds

While protests spread nationwide, Donald Trump spent the weekend at his Mar-a-Lago estate in Florida. He told Fox News, “They call me a king — but I’m not.”

Trump later mocked protesters by sharing an AI-generated video showing himself piloting a fighter jet labeled “King Trump.” The video depicted him flying over Times Square as crowds chanted “No Kings.”

Despite criticism, Republican leaders dismissed the demonstrations as “anti-American rallies,” while organizers maintained their commitment to peaceful, democratic resistance.
