Canada CRA ਦਾ ਖ਼ਤਰਨਾਕ ਟਰੱਕਿੰਗ ‘ਤੇ ਸਖ਼ਤ ਐਕਸ਼ਨ:
ਪੀਲ ਖੇਤਰ ‘ਚ ਵਧ ਰਹੀਆਂ ਖ਼ਤਰਨਾਕ ਟਰੱਕਿੰਗ ਦੀ ਮੁੱਖ ਵਜ੍ਹਾ CRA ਦੇ ਕਾਨੂੰਨਾਂ ਦੀ ਢਿੱਲੀ ਲਾਗੂ ਕਰਨ ਨਾਲ ਜੁੜੀ ਹੋ ਸਕਦੀ ਹੈ। ਉਦਯੋਗ ਵਿਸ਼ੇਸ਼ਗਿਆਨਾਂ ਦਾ ਕਹਿਣਾ ਹੈ ਕਿ Canada CRA ਜੇਕਰ ਸਖ਼ਤੀ ਨਾਲ ਕਾਰਵਾਈ ਕਰੇ ਤਾਂ ਪੀਲ ਖੇਤਰ ਦੀਆਂ ਸੜਕਾਂ ਹੋਰ ਸੁਰੱਖਿਅਤ ਹੋ ਸਕਦੀਆਂ ਹਨ ਅਤੇ ਅਸੁਰੱਖਿਅਤ ਟਰੱਕ ਡਰਾਈਵਰਾਂ ਅਤੇ ਕੰਪਨੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਹਟਾਇਆ ਜਾ ਸਕਦਾ ਹੈ।
ਇਹ ਗੱਲ ਉਸ ਸਮੇਂ ਉਭਰੀ ਜਦੋਂ ਕੈਲੇਡਨ ਵਿੱਚ ਸੜਕ ਸੁਰੱਖਿਆ ਲਈ ਵੱਡੇ ਪ੍ਰਦਰਸ਼ਨ ਹੋਏ। ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨੇ ਚੇਤਾਵਨੀ ਦਿੱਤੀ ਕਿ ਕਈ ਹਾਦਸਿਆਂ ਦੇ ਪਿੱਛੇ ਅਣਅਨੁਭਵੀ ਜਾਂ ਘੱਟ ਤਿਆਰ ਡਰਾਈਵਰ ਹਨ। ਇਸੇ ਦੌਰਾਨ, ਓਨਟਾਰੀਓ ਟਰਾਂਸਪੋਰਟ ਮੰਤਰਾਲੇ (MTO) ਨੇ 185 ਵਪਾਰਕ ਟਰੱਕਿੰਗ ਲਾਈਸੈਂਸ ਰੱਦ ਕੀਤੇ, ਜੋ ਧੋਖੇ ਨਾਲ ਪ੍ਰਾਪਤ ਕੀਤੇ ਗਏ ਸਨ।

“ਜੇ Canada CRA ਮੌਜੂਦਾ ਟੈਕਸ ਕਾਨੂੰਨਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਲਾਗੂ ਕਰੇ, ਤਾਂ ਖ਼ਤਰਨਾਕ ਟਰੱਕਿੰਗ ਸਮੱਸਿਆਵਾਂ ਰਾਤੋ-ਰਾਤ ਖ਼ਤਮ ਹੋ ਸਕਦੀਆਂ ਹਨ।”
ਬੇਘੇੱਟੋ ਨੇ ਦਰਸਾਇਆ ਕਿ ਕਈ ਡਰਾਈਵਰਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਠੇਕੇਦਾਰ ਵਜੋਂ ਗਲਤ ਸ਼੍ਰੇਣੀਬੱਧ ਕੀਤਾ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ, ਜਿਸ ਨਾਲ ਟੈਕਸਾਂ ਅਤੇ ਸੁਰੱਖਿਆ ਨਿਯਮਾਂ ਤੋਂ ਬਚਿਆ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ। ਇਸ ਕਾਰਨ “ਡਰਾਈਵਰ ਇੰਕ.” ਵਰਗੇ ਗੈਰਕਾਨੂੰਨੀ ਮਾਡਲ ਬਣੇ ਹਨ।
ਜਗਦੀਪ ਸ਼ਿਪਰਾ, 5K Solutions and Services Inc. ਦੇ ਮਾਲਕ, ਕਹਿੰਦੇ ਹਨ ਕਿ ਸਰਕਾਰ ਨੂੰ ਸਿਰਫ਼ ਟਰੱਕਿੰਗ ਨਹੀਂ, ਸਾਰੇ ਖੇਤਰਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਨਿਆਂਪੂਰਵਕ ਨਿਯਮ ਲਾਗੂ ਕਰਨੇ ਚਾਹੀਦੇ ਹਨ। ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ ਸਾਰੇ ਠੇਕੇਦਾਰਾਂ ਲਈ T4A ਫਾਰਮ ਲਾਜ਼ਮੀ ਕਰਨ ਦੀ ਮੰਗ ਕੀਤੀ।
ਅਮਾਂਡਾ ਕੋਰਬੇਟ, CCRSA ਦੀ ਮੈਂਬਰ, ਕਹਿੰਦੀ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦਾ ਮਕਸਦ ਸਿਰਫ਼ ਸੁਰੱਖਿਆ ਹੈ, ਨਸਲ ਜਾਂ ਰੰਗ ਨਹੀਂ।
ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ ਕਿਹਾ:
“ਸਾਨੂੰ ਸਿਰਫ਼ ਇਹ ਚਾਹੀਦਾ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਸੜਕਾਂ ‘ਤੇ ਲੋਕ ਸੁਰੱਖਿਅਤ ਰਹਿਣ।”
ਇਹ ਸਾਰੀਆਂ ਕਾਰਵਾਈਆਂ ਇਸ ਗੱਲ ਨੂੰ ਸਾਬਤ ਕਰਦੀਆਂ ਹਨ ਕਿ CRA ਦੀ ਦਖ਼ਲਅੰਦਾਜ਼ੀ ਨਾਲ ਪੀਲ ਖੇਤਰ ਦੀਆਂ ਸੜਕਾਂ ਸੁਰੱਖਿਅਤ ਹੋ ਸਕਦੀਆਂ ਹਨ ਅਤੇ ਨਵੇਂ ਡਰਾਈਵਰਾਂ ਦੀ ਭਲਾਈ ਹੋ ਸਕਦੀ ਹੈ।

Canada’s Tax Agency Takes Action — Major Crackdown Possible on Dangerous Trucking in Peel
Unsafe trucking on Peel Region roads may persist due to gaps in tax enforcement, say industry experts. The Canada CRA (Revenue Agency) could play a key role in removing unsafe drivers and trucking companies from the streets.
This issue has gained attention following Caledon protests, where residents raised concerns about crashes caused by inexperienced or poorly trained truck drivers. The Ontario Ministry of Transportation (MTO) recently suspended 185 commercial trucking licences allegedly obtained through fraud — an action seen by many as too little, too late.
Marco Beghetto, Vice-President of the Ontario Trucking Association, commented:
“If Canada CRA enforced current tax laws, unsafe trucking could be resolved overnight.”
He highlighted that many drivers are misclassified as independent contractors, allowing companies to evade taxes and safety regulations. This has led to the rise of the so-called Driver Inc. system, where unscrupulous operators exploit loopholes.
Jagdeep Shipra, president of 5K Solutions and Services Inc., stressed fairness across all industries, urging the federal government to make T4A forms mandatory for all contractors and ensure compliance.
Amanda Corbett from the Caledon Community Road Safety Advocacy Group (CCRSA) clarified that the group focuses on public safety, not race or nationality.
“Our concern is keeping roads safe for everyone,” she said.
Experts and advocates agree: CRA involvement could make Peel roads safer and prevent exploitative practices against new immigrant truck drivers.
