ਟੋਰਾਂਟੋ ਪੁਲਿਸ ਦਾ ਕਹਿਣਾ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਸ਼ਨੀਵਾਰ ਸਵੇਰੇ ਇੱਕ ਈਟੋਬੀਕੋ ਪਾਰਕ ਵਿੱਚ ਲੇਕ ਓਨਟਾਰੀਓ ਵਿੱਚ ਡੁੱਬਣ ਕਾਰਨ ਇੱਕ ਔਰਤ ਦੀ ਮੌਤ ਹੋ ਗਈ।
ਸਵੇਰੇ 7 ਵਜੇ ਦੇ ਕਰੀਬ, ਸਮੁੰਦਰੀ ਯੂਨਿਟ ਨੇ ਮੈਰੀ ਕਰਟਿਸ ਪਾਰਕ ਵਿਖੇ ਪਾਣੀ ਵਿੱਚ ਇੱਕ ਲਾਸ਼ ਦੀਆਂ ਰਿਪੋਰਟਾਂ ਦਾ ਜਵਾਬ ਦਿੱਤਾ।
ਪੁਲਿਸ ਨੇ ਇੱਕ ਔਰਤ ਨੂੰ ਬੀਚ ਦੇ ਕਿਨਾਰੇ ‘ਤੇ ਪਾਇਆ, ਡਾਕਟਰਾਂ ਨੇ ਜੀਵਨ ਬਚਾਉਣ ਦੇ ਉਪਾਅ ਕੀਤੇ ਪਰ ਔਰਤ ਨੂੰ ਮੌਕੇ ‘ਤੇ ਹੀ ਮ੍ਰਿਤਕ ਐਲਾਨ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਗਿਆ।
ਪੁਲਿਸ ਦਾ ਕਹਿਣਾ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਉਹ ਔਰਤ ਦੀ ਪਛਾਣ ਕਰਨ ਦੀ ਕੋਸ਼ਿਸ਼ ਕਰ ਰਹੀ ਹੈ।
ਕਿਸੇ ਵੀ ਜਾਣਕਾਰੀ ਦੇਣ ਵਾਲੇ ਵਿਅਕਤੀ ਨੂੰ 416-808-2200 ਜਾਂ 1-800-222-8477 ‘ਤੇ ਅਗਿਆਤ ਤੌਰ ‘ਤੇ ਪੁਲਿਸ ਨਾਲ ਸੰਪਰਕ ਕਰਨ ਲਈ ਕਿਹਾ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ।
Toronto police say a woman died after drowning in Lake Ontario at an Etobicoke park early Saturday morning.
Around 7 a.m., the marine unit responded to reports of a body in the water at Mary Curtis Park.
Police found a woman on the beach, doctors administered life-saving measures but the woman was pronounced dead on the spot.
Police say they are trying to identify the woman.
