Brampton, (Baljinder Sekha) – Candidates are filing papers for the October 24 municipal elections in Ontario. Leading journalist Satpal Singh Johal has filed his nomination as a school trustee candidate from Wards 9 and 10 of Brampton, which has caused great excitement in the local community. He is campaigning along with his volunteers and supporters. According to Mr. Johal, the response from the people has been very ‘positive’ and support is being given.
