-ਓਨਟਾਰੀਓ ਵਿੱਚ ਮਿਉਂਸਪਲ ਚੋਣਾਂ ਲਈ ਅਗਾਊਂ ਪੋਲਿੰਗ 7 ਅਕਤੂਬਰ ਨੂੰ ਸ਼ੁਰੂ ਹੋਵੇਗੀ। ਵੋਟਰ ਆਪਣੇ ਸ਼ਹਿਰਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਮੇਅਰ, ਖੇਤਰੀ ਕੌਂਸਲਰਾਂ, ਸਿਟੀ ਕੌਂਸਲਰਾਂ ਅਤੇ ਸਕੂਲ ਟਰੱਸਟੀਆਂ ਦੀ ਚੋਣ ਕਰਨਗੇ। ਚੋਣਾਂ ਦਾ ਦਿਨ 24 ਅਕਤੂਬਰ ਹੈ।
-ਪੁਲਿਸ ਅਜੇ ਵੀ 2 ਸ਼ੱਕੀਆਂ ਦੀ ਭਾਲ ਕਰ ਰਹੀ ਹੈ ਜੋ ਕੱਲ੍ਹ ਸਸਕੈਚਵਨ ਵਿੱਚ ਦੋ ਦਰਜਨ ਤੋਂ ਵੱਧ ਲੋਕਾਂ (10 ਦੀ ਮੌਤ) ਨੂੰ ਚਾਕੂ ਮਾਰ ਕੇ ਭੱਜ ਗਏ ਸਨ।
-ਕੈਨੇਡਾ ਵਿੱਚ ਅੱਜ ਮਜ਼ਦੂਰ ਦਿਵਸ ਹੈ!, ਪੰਜਾਬੀ ਗਾਇਕ ਦਿਨ ਵੇਲੇ ਮਾਲਟਨ ਦੇ ਵਾਈਲਡਵੁੱਡ ਪਾਰਕ ਵਿੱਚ ‘ਮੇਲਾ ਕਿਰਤੀਆਂ ਦਾ’ (ਮਜ਼ਦੂਰਾਂ ਦੇ ਤਿਉਹਾਰ) ਵਿੱਚ ਪ੍ਰਦਰਸ਼ਨ ਕਰਨਗੇ।
-ਟੋਰਾਂਟੋ ਪੁਲਿਸ ਸ਼ਹਿਰ ਵਿੱਚ 25 ਅਗਸਤ ਨੂੰ ਵਾਪਰੀ ਜਿਨਸੀ ਸ਼ੋਸ਼ਣ ਦੀ ਘਟਨਾ ਵਿੱਚ 3 ਸ਼ੱਕੀਆਂ (2 ਦਸਤਾਰਧਾਰੀ) ਦੀ ਭਾਲ ਕਰ ਰਹੀ ਹੈ। ਪੁਲਿਸ ਨੇ ਕੱਲ੍ਹ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੀਆਂ ਤਸਵੀਰਾਂ ਜਾਰੀ ਕੀਤੀਆਂ ਹਨ।
