ਹੈਮਿਲਟਨ ਪੁਲਿਸ ਦਾ ਕਹਿਣਾ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਬੁੱਧਵਾਰ ਰਾਤ ਨੂੰ ਇੱਕ ਘਰ ਨੂੰ ਅੱਗ ਲੱਗਣ ਕਾਰਨ 20 ਸਾਲਾ ਵਿਅਕਤੀ ਦੀ ਮੌਤ ਹੋ ਗਈ ਹੈ।
ਪੁਲਿਸ ਦਾ ਕਹਿਣਾ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਰਾਤ 8 ਵਜੇ ਤੋਂ ਬਾਅਦ ਮੈਕਮਾਸਟਰ ਯੂਨੀਵਰਸਿਟੀ ਦੇ ਨੇੜੇ ਟ੍ਰੇਮੋਰ ਐਵੇਨਿਊ ‘ਤੇ ਇੱਕ ਘਰ ਨੂੰ ਅੱਗ ਲੱਗ ਗਈ।
ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦਾ ਕਹਿਣਾ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਅੱਗ ਬੁਝਾਉਣ ਵਾਲਿਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਘਰ ਦੇ ਅੰਦਰ ਇੱਕ 20 ਸਾਲਾ ਨੌਜਵਾਨ ਅੱਗ ਨਾਲ ਝੁਲਸਿਆ ਮਿਲਿਆ।
ਬਾਅਦ ‘ਚ ਹਸਪਤਾਲ ‘ਚ ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਮ੍ਰਿਤਕ ਐਲਾਨ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਗਿਆ।
ਪੁਲਿਸ ਅਤੇ ਫਾਇਰ ਮਾਰਸ਼ਲ ਘਟਨਾ ਦੀ ਜਾਂਚ ਕਰ ਰਹੇ ਹਨ।
Hamilton police say a 20-year-old man has died after a house fire broke out Wednesday night.
Police say a house fire broke out on Traymore Avenue, close to McMaster University, just after 8 p.m.
They say firefighters found a 20-year-old man inside the house with burns.
Later he was declared dead in the hospital.
Police and fire marshals are investigating the incident.
