ਉੱਤਰੀ ਯਾਰਕ ‘ਚ ਵਾਹਨ ਦੀ ਟੱਕਰ ਨਾਲ 80 ਸਾਲਾ ਬਜ਼ੁਰਗ ਗੰਭੀਰ ਜ਼ਖਮੀ
ਪੈਰਾਮੈਡਿਕਸ ਦਾ ਕਹਿਣਾ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਉੱਤਰੀ ਯਾਰਕ ਵਿੱਚ ਇੱਕ ਵਾਹਨ ਦੁਆਰਾ ਟੱਕਰ ਮਾਰਨ ਤੋਂ ਬਾਅਦ ਇੱਕ 80 ਸਾਲਾ ਬਜ਼ੁਰਗ ਵਿਅਕਤੀ ਨੂੰ ਜਾਨਲੇਵਾ ਸੱਟਾਂ ਨਾਲ ਹਸਪਤਾਲ ਲਿਜਾਇਆ ਗਿਆ ਹੈ।
ਇਹ ਘਟਨਾ ਫਿੰਚ ਐਵੇਨਿਊ ਅਤੇ ਬਾਥਰਸਟ ਸਟਰੀਟ( Finch Avenue and Bathurst Street) ਦੇ ਚੌਰਾਹੇ ‘ਤੇ ਸਵੇਰੇ 9:30 ਵਜੇ ਦੇ ਕਰੀਬ ਵਾਪਰੀ।
ਪੁਲਿਸ ਦਾ ਕਹਿਣਾ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਘਟਨਾ ਦੀ ਜਾਂਚ ਲਈ ਫਿੰਚ ਐਵੇਨਿਊ ਦੀਆਂ ਪੱਛਮੀ ਪਾਸੇ ਦੀਆਂ ਲੇਨਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਇਸ ਸਮੇਂ ਬਾਥਰਸਟ ਸਟਰੀਟ (Bathurst Street) ‘ਤੇ ਬੰਦ ਕਰ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਗਿਆ ਹੈ।
ਇਹ ਸਪੱਸ਼ਟ ਨਹੀਂ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਰੋਡਵੇਅ ਕਦੋਂ ਖੁੱਲੇਗਾ ਅਤੇ ਪੁਲਿਸ ਡਰਾਈਵਰਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਖੇਤਰ ਵਿੱਚ “ਸੰਭਾਵਿਤ ਦੇਰੀ” ਦੀ ਚੇਤਾਵਨੀ ਦੇ ਰਹੀ ਹੈ।
An 80-year-old man seriously injured after being hit by vehicle in North York
An 80-year-old man has been taken to hospital with life-threatening injuries after being hit by a vehicle in North York, paramedics say.
The incident took place at the intersection of Finch Avenue and Bathurst Street around 9:30 am.
Police say the westbound lanes of Finch Avenue are currently closed at Bathurst Street to investigate the incident.
It is not clear when the roadway will reopen and police are warning drivers of “possible delays” in the area.
