1. Saw and Stretch Operator – 5 Positions

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
The duties and responsibilities of the Saw & Stretcher Operator are detailed below, but not limited to the
following:
Saw Operation
Operate the saw in an effective and cost-efficient manner while maintaining quality and safety standards.
Perform the required PM checks on the saw daily.
Follow work order specifications and packing instructions. Read and follow all notes in Epics.
Inspect cut lengths, critical dimensions and visually inspect material.
Ensure proper handling of material.
Saw samples must be properly labelled and kept together for traceability.
Ensure proper weight is measured and recorded to the required frequency.
Ensure sign offs for in-process operations and complete entries in Epics.
Ensure skid over changes are less than 3 minutes.
Responsible for reporting equipment malfunctions.
Feedback to Supervisors on shapes having a poor yield.
Stretcher Operation
Run the stretcher efficiently as possible.
Complete daily PM checks for the stretcher.
Stretching of aluminum extrusions to keep them straight and twist free.
Checking dimensions and flatness and ensure extrusion is not over stretched.
Responsible for batching at storage table with right number of pieces per batch
Use material handling system properly to avoid damage to extrusions.
Read and follow all notes in Epics.
Report to the supervisor any problems noted before, during or after stretching.
Communicate with saw crew any concerns regarding some dimensions and finish.
Report any malfunction in stretching equipment.
Complete required inspections and paperwork and all required Epics entries.
Comply with all quality related policies, procedures, and system requirements.
Education/Experience
Grade 10 with some technical background and mechanical aptitude. Grade 12 would be an asset.
Technical Skills/Competence
1-2 years in an industrial environment, knowledge of machinery and ability to read drawings an asset. Willing
to train.

2. CNC Set Up Operator -Night shift – 5 Positions
$22 + $1 night shift premium + Benefits – Full Time – Permanent

Functionally responsible for operating Press, Process Equipment and Handling Equipment. Ensure that a safe working environment is maintained at all times. This will be done by following Company policies and procedures. We believe that every Employee is responsible to act safely and to model good safety practices.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
The duties and responsibilities of the Extrusion Press Operator are detailed below, but not limited to the following:
Operator #1
Die management; Ensure all necessary tooling is available at the beginning and throughout shift.
Load dies into press; Maintain die change times per press as specified in Production Roles.
Check finish and dimensions on extrusions at the required frequency.
Ensure press signoffs after samples are checked.
Ensure proper billets/logs are in the ovens and monitor the supply to keep press going.
Press samples must be properly labelled and kept together for traceability.
Complete press Ascoma scans as required.
Operator #2:
Operation of Extrusion Press at the best possible speed while maintaining a good quality extrusion, start each order off by running no less than the average speed of each die.
Keep track of equipment performance and ensure press is well tuned, and temperatures are being properly managed from billet oven to exit temperature.
Use the first billet whenever possible to cut samples since that extrusion is likely shorter than subsequent billets and cutting samples from subsequent billets may result in losing one cut length.
Mark cavity numbers on the samples and the corresponding extrusions on the cooling table so the saw operator can cut and save these after stretching.
Check the run out at the beginning of each order and report to Team Leader if billet length scheduled is inappropriate and have it changed if it will improve yield.
Ensure proper lead-out of extrusion into puller jaws,
Run clean-out dummy block at least once every shift and perform the required PM checks
Have sufficient walks between extrusions transferred onto cooling table,
Ensure all billets and alloy used are accounted for in Epics,
Read and follow all notes in Epics applicable to press section.
Operator #1 and #2
Help with maintaining press and related process equipment in the event of breakdown,
Look for opportunities to improve press output
Comply with all quality related policies, procedures, and system requirement.
Education/Experience
Must have proven skills in operation of any press operation with the ability to learn this trade.
Ability to read drawings and measurement equipment.
Min. grade 10 with written and oral skills or technical training that is equivalent. Grade 12 would be an asset.
Technical Skills/Competence
1-2 years of experience in a production environment.
3. Advance Machine Operator – 5 Positions
$19.00-$19.25 + Benefits – Full Time – Permanent

Staffmax is assisting our client with the hire of a full-time, permanent machine operator. This individual will be doing machine operating and manufacturing with a low level of supervision.
Set Machine to Desired Height / Width of inputs
Process materials through the machine
Correct any imperfections in the final product / Prevent errors such as jams
Perform Inspection of Final Product
Oversee one or more machines at once
Requirements
Can do heavy lifting
Prior machine operation / weaving experience is required.

4. Shipping Receiving+ Forklift License (Counterbalance and Raymond Reach)
$23-25/hr – Full Time
Mississauga, ON
• Maintain a personal arrival, breaks and departure schedule consistent with scheduled trucks and opening and closing the docks. Dock and Shop Floor (approximately 6 hours per day):
• Load and unload robots, parts, and related materials to and from trucks:
• Manually lift boxes and use pump trucks, box carts and forklifts.
• Unpack and open all incoming materials and sort recyclable materials.
• Separate, sort and store materials in appropriate inventory locations.
• Inspect, match, and receive materials and paperwork to verify accuracy.
• Review shipping documentation for accuracy, export, and customs compliance.
• Confirm shipping terms and coordinate with customers picking up materials.
• Schedule and coordinate the dock availability, loading and unloading schedules.
• Inspect, pack, and prepare Robots and related materials for shipping.
• Annually identify, count, and organize or scrap current and obsolete inventory.
• Maintain docks, parts, and shipping areas in a neat and orderly manner (sweep, organize, remove used shipping materials, stock tape, break down cardboard, etc.)
Shipping Office (approximately 2 hours per day):
• Maintain computerized shipping and receiving logs in a timely accurate manner.
• Obtain competitive pricing for outgoing trucks, combining loads wherever possible.
• Pick and release inventory of received items to multiple projects.
• Expedite missing and delayed shipments with customers and trucking companies.
• Work with shop personnel, supervisors, and project managers to allocate floor space.
• Document damaged items and return to suppliers.
Minimum Requirements
• The ideal candidate will have the following experience and education:
• Up-to-date forklift license and applicable safety training.
• Ability to work in a demanding environment with complex workloads, occasional overtime, and short-notice schedule changes.
• Ability to lead day-to-day logistics tasks including truck ordering, truck schedules, dock, and forklift activities, etc.
• Ability to communicate logistics details professionally effectively with suppliers, co-workers, truckers, customs etc. to accommodate rapidly changing customer expectations.
• Ability to work with ERP systems, Microsoft Office, and other computer tools for periods of time, able to read, interpret and act on schedules, shipping, and export compliance documents,
• and write concise and organized emails (English mandatory, French beneficial).
