The following is a list of in-person school closures for Tuesday, January 18, 2022 in the Greater Toronto Area.
Boards have stated that the roads and walkways are unsafe for kids and staff to attend school in person due to the winter storm cleaning.
With a few exceptions, several schools have turned to remote learning for the day.
- Both in-person and online learning have been closed/cancelled by the Toronto District School Board.
- Both in-person and online learning have been closed/cancelled by the Toronto Catholic District School Board.
- Both in-person and online learning have been closed/cancelled by the Peel District School Board.
- In-person school has been cancelled by the Dufferin-Peel Catholic District School Board. Virtual learning will be used by students.
- In-person school has been cancelled by the York Region District School Board.
- In-person school has been cancelled by the York Catholic District School Board. Virtual learning will be used by students.

Buses have been cancelled by the Durham District School Board. There will be no classes in elementary schools. Secondary schools are making the transition to online learning.
