Ontario confirmed 68 new COVID-19-related deaths, bringing total number of deaths in January to above 1,100

According to Alexandra Hilkene of the Ministry of Health, four of the deaths recorded today occurred on Thursday, 17 on Wednesday, and the remaining 46 occurred in the 11 days before to Wednesday.
Residents of the long-term care system were involved in 14 of the deaths revealed on Friday.
The province has recorded 1,103 COVID-19-related deaths this month, while others occurred earlier and were only recently revealed.
