In downtown Toronto, a man killed after being struck by a vehicle

A pedestrian was killed in downtown Toronto on Sunday afternoon after being struck by a vehicle.
The collision occurred just before 3:30 p.m. in the area of Dundas Street East and Bond Street, east of Yonge Street, according to Toronto police.
When first responders came, they discovered a guy with life-threatening injuries and no vital signs.
The man was airlifted to a trauma centre, where he was declared dead.
Insp. on Duty The driver of the vehicle, according to Roger Caracciolo, remained at the site and is collaborating with the inquiry.
When asked what exactly happened, Caracciolo stated that they are still investigating.
For the duration of the investigation, all roads in the region were closed.
