ਕੀਲੇ ਅਤੇ ਐਗਲਿਨਟਨ ਨੇੜੇ ਘਾਤਕ ਗੋਲੀਬਾਰੀ ਵਿਚ 21 ਸਾਲਾ ਵਿਅਕਤੀ ‘ਤੇ ਕਤਲ ਦਾ ਦੋਸ਼
In connection with a fatal shooting in the city’s west end, a 21-year-old man has been charged with first-degree murder.
Around 2:30 a.m. on Oct. 23, emergency workers were dispatched to an apartment complex near Eglinton Avenue West and Keele Street.
Officers discovered a 36-year-old male with a gunshot wound when they got on the scene. Despite the fact that life-saving procedures were taken, the individual was pronounced deceased at the site.
Donald Leroy “Smokey” Marson, a Toronto resident, was identified as the victim earlier this week by authorities.
Although few information regarding the investigation have been revealed, Toronto police said on Friday that an arrest had been made in the case.
Prince Cameron, a Toronto resident, has been charged with first-degree murder in the incident. On Oct. 30, he is expected to appear in court.

ਐਮਰਜੈਂਸੀ ਅਮਲੇ ਨੂੰ 23 ਅਕਤੂਬਰ ਨੂੰ ਸਵੇਰੇ 2:30 ਵਜੇ ਦੇ ਆਸ-ਪਾਸ ਐਗਲਿਨਟਨ ਐਵੇਨਿਊ ਵੈਸਟ ਅਤੇ ਕੀਲੀ ਸਟਰੀਟ ਨੇੜੇ ਇੱਕ ਅਪਾਰਟਮੈਂਟ ਬਿਲਡਿੰਗ ਵਿੱਚ ਬੁਲਾਇਆ ਗਿਆ ਸੀ।
ਜਦੋਂ ਅਧਿਕਾਰੀ ਮੌਕੇ ‘ਤੇ ਪਹੁੰਚੇ ਤਾਂ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ ਇਕ 36 ਸਾਲਾ ਵਿਅਕਤੀ ਨੂੰ ਗੋਲੀ ਲੱਗਣ ਨਾਲ ਜ਼ਖਮੀ ਦੇਖਿਆ। ਜਾਨ ਬਚਾਉਣ ਦੇ ਉਪਾਅ ਕੀਤੇ ਗਏ ਪਰ ਵਿਅਕਤੀ ਨੂੰ ਮੌਕੇ ‘ਤੇ ਹੀ ਮ੍ਰਿਤਕ ਐਲਾਨ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਗਿਆ।
ਇਸ ਹਫ਼ਤੇ ਦੇ ਸ਼ੁਰੂ ਵਿੱਚ ਪੁਲਿਸ ਨੇ ਪੀੜਤ ਦੀ ਪਛਾਣ ਟੋਰਾਂਟੋ ਨਿਵਾਸੀ ਡੋਨਾਲਡ ਲੇਰੋਏ “ਸਮੋਕੀ” ਮਾਰਸਨ ਵਜੋਂ ਕੀਤੀ ਸੀ।
ਜਾਂਚ ਬਾਰੇ ਬਹੁਤ ਘੱਟ ਵੇਰਵੇ ਜਾਰੀ ਕੀਤੇ ਗਏ ਹਨ, ਪਰ ਸ਼ੁੱਕਰਵਾਰ ਨੂੰ ਟੋਰਾਂਟੋ ਪੁਲਿਸ ਨੇ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਇਸ ਮਾਮਲੇ ਵਿੱਚ ਇੱਕ ਗ੍ਰਿਫਤਾਰੀ ਕੀਤੀ ਗਈ ਹੈ।
ਟੋਰਾਂਟੋ ਨਿਵਾਸੀ ਪ੍ਰਿੰਸ ਕੈਮਰਨ ‘ਤੇ ਗੋਲੀਬਾਰੀ ਦੇ ਸਬੰਧ ਵਿਚ ਫਰਸਟ ਡਿਗਰੀ ਕਤਲ ਦਾ ਦੋਸ਼ ਲਗਾਇਆ ਗਿਆ ਹੈ। ਉਸ ਨੂੰ 30 ਅਕਤੂਬਰ ਨੂੰ ਅਦਾਲਤ ਵਿੱਚ ਪੇਸ਼ ਕੀਤਾ ਜਾਣਾ ਹੈ।
ਪੁਲਿਸ ਅਜੇ ਵੀ ਕਿਸੇ ਨੂੰ ਵੀ ਜਾਣਕਾਰੀ ਵਾਲੇ ਨੂੰ ਜਾਂਚਕਰਤਾਵਾਂ ਨਾਲ ਸੰਪਰਕ ਕਰਨ ਜਾਂ ਗੁਮਨਾਮ ਤੌਰ ‘ਤੇ ਅਪਰਾਧ ਰੋਕਣ ਵਾਲਿਆਂ ਤੱਕ ਪਹੁੰਚਣ ਲਈ ਕਹਿ ਰਹੀ ਹੈ।
