Police in Toronto are seeking for a man who set fire to two ATMs in North York.
Investigators said the first incident happened on Aug. 2 about 1:10 p.m. in the neighborhood of Wilson Avenue and Jane Street, according to a news release issued Thursday morning.
Police claimed they responded to a call for a fire at a neighboring bank at the time. A man is said to have set fire to the ATM on the premises.
Investigators think the same individual set fire to another ATM inside a bank at Leslie Street and York Mills Road on Nov. 5 at around 8:30 pm, just over three months later.
According to police, the ATM machines were severely damaged in both fires.
In an attempt to identify the perpetrator, authorities have released surveillance photographs of him that appear to be obtained from the machines themselves.
The suspect is described as standing between five feet four and five feet five inches tall, 40 to 60 years old, and having a balding or shaven head, according to authorities. During both incidents, he was clean shaven and had a medium-to-stocky build.

ਤਿੰਨ ਮਹੀਨਿਆਂ ਤੋਂ ਥੋੜ੍ਹੇ ਸਮੇਂ ਬਾਅਦ, ਜਾਂਚਕਰਤਾਵਾਂ ਦਾ ਮੰਨਣਾ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਉਸੇ ਵਿਅਕਤੀ ਨੇ 5 ਨਵੰਬਰ ਨੂੰ ਲਗਭਗ 8:30 ਵਜੇ ਲੇਸਲੀ ਸਟਰੀਟ ਅਤੇ ਯਾਰਕ ਮਿੱਲਜ਼ ਰੋਡ ਨੇੜੇ ਬੈਂਕ ਦੇ ਅੰਦਰ ਸਥਿਤ ਇੱਕ ਹੋਰ ਏਟੀਐਮ ਨੂੰ ਅੱਗ ਲਗਾ ਦਿੱਤੀ।
ਪੁਲਿਸ ਨੇ ਦੱਸਿਆ ਕਿ ਦੋਵੇਂ ਅੱਗਾਂ ਨੇ ਏਟੀਐਮ ਮਸ਼ੀਨਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਕਾਫ਼ੀ ਨੁਕਸਾਨ ਪਹੁੰਚਾਇਆ ਹੈ।
ਸ਼ੱਕੀ ਦੀਆਂ ਨਿਗਰਾਨੀ ਤਸਵੀਰਾਂ, ਜੋ ਕਿ ਮਸ਼ੀਨਾਂ ਤੋਂ ਆਪਣੇ ਆਪ ਲਈਆਂ ਜਾਪਦੀਆਂ ਹਨ, ਪੁਲਿਸ ਦੁਆਰਾ ਉਸਦੀ ਪਛਾਣ ਕਰਨ ਦੀ ਕੋਸ਼ਿਸ਼ ਵਿੱਚ ਜਾਰੀ ਕੀਤੀਆਂ ਗਈਆਂ ਹਨ।

ਪੁਲਿਸ ਕਿਸੇ ਨੂੰ ਵੀ ਜਾਂਚ ਨਾਲ ਸਬੰਧਤ ਜਾਣਕਾਰੀ ਦੇਣ ਲਈ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨਾਲ ਜਾਂ ਕ੍ਰਾਈਮ ਸਟਾਪਰਜ਼ ਨਾਲ ਸੰਪਰਕ ਕਰਨ ਲਈ ਕਹਿ ਰਹੀ ਹੈ।
