ਟੋਰਾਂਟੋ ਵਿੱਚ ਚਾਕੂ ਮਾਰਨ ਤੋਂ ਬਾਅਦ ਔਰਤ ‘ਤੇ ਫਸਟ-ਡਿਗਰੀ ਕਤਲ ਦੇ ਦੋਸ਼
A homicide investigation has been initiated by Toronto police after a 37-year-old man was slain in a stabbing.
The incident occurred around 10:56 a.m. on Friday near Weston Road and Dennis Avenue, according to police.
On Saturday morning, the Toronto Police Service released a statement claiming police arrived on the scene Friday and discovered the woman suffering from stab wounds.
According to investigators, the woman died as a result of her injuries. Elsabet Yitayew of Toronto has been recognised.
Temeka Dorsett, 32, of Toronto, was detained at the scene and charged with first-degree murder, according to police.
On Jan. 1, 2022, at 10 a.m., she will appear in court virtually in Old City Hall.

ਪੁਲਿਸ ਨੇ ਦੱਸਿਆ ਕਿ ਇਹ ਘਟਨਾ ਸ਼ੁੱਕਰਵਾਰ ਸਵੇਰੇ ਕਰੀਬ 10:56 ਵਜੇ ਵੈਸਟਨ ਰੋਡ ਅਤੇ ਡੇਨਿਸ ਐਵੇਨਿਊ ਖੇਤਰ ਵਿੱਚ ਵਾਪਰੀ।
ਟੋਰਾਂਟੋ ਪੁਲਿਸ ਸਰਵਿਸ ਨੇ ਸ਼ਨੀਵਾਰ ਸਵੇਰੇ ਇੱਕ ਨਿਊਜ਼ ਰੀਲੀਜ਼ ਜਾਰੀ ਕਰਦਿਆਂ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਅਧਿਕਾਰੀ ਸ਼ੁੱਕਰਵਾਰ ਨੂੰ ਘਟਨਾ ਸਥਾਨ ‘ਤੇ ਪਹੁੰਚੇ ਅਤੇ ਔਰਤ ਨੂੰ ਚਾਕੂ ਦੇ ਜ਼ਖਮਾਂ ਤੋਂ ਪੀੜਤ ਪਾਇਆ।
ਪੁਲਿਸ ਨੇ ਦੱਸਿਆ ਕਿ ਔਰਤ ਨੇ ਜ਼ਖ਼ਮਾਂ ਦੀ ਤਾਬ ਨਾ ਝੱਲਦਿਆਂ ਦਮ ਤੋੜ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਅਤੇ ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਮ੍ਰਿਤਕ ਐਲਾਨ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਗਿਆ। ਉਸ ਦੀ ਪਛਾਣ ਟੋਰਾਂਟੋ ਦੀ ਐਲਸਾਬੇਟ ਯੀਤਾਏਵ ਵਜੋਂ ਹੋਈ ਹੈ।
ਪੁਲਿਸ ਦਾ ਕਹਿਣਾ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਟੋਰਾਂਟੋ ਦੀ 32 ਸਾਲਾ ਟੇਮੇਕਾ ਡੋਰਸੇਟ ਔਰਤ ਨੂੰ ਮੌਕੇ ‘ਤੇ ਗ੍ਰਿਫਤਾਰ ਕੀਤਾ ਗਿਆ ਅਤੇ ਉਸ ‘ਤੇ ਫਰਸਟ ਡਿਗਰੀ ਕਤਲ ਦਾ ਦੋਸ਼ ਲਗਾਇਆ ਗਿਆ ਹੈ।
ਉਹ 1 ਜਨਵਰੀ, 2022 ਨੂੰ ਸਵੇਰੇ 10 ਵਜੇ ਓਲਡ ਸਿਟੀ ਹਾਲ ਵਿਖੇ ਅਦਾਲਤ ਵਿਚ ਪੇਸ਼ ਹੋਵੇਗੀ।
