Toronto police rescue 8 people after boat capsizes in Lake Ontario

Police are investigating after a boat capsized in Lake Ontario, near Portland, Toronto.
After 12:10 a.m. Wednesday, police Marine Unit and Toronto Paramedics responded to reports of a boat capsizing in Lake Ontario near Tommy Thomson Park shortly .
According to paramedics, eight people were pulled out of the water and one was taken to hospital with minor injuries.
There were no other injuries reported.
Police have reached the spot and are investigating.

ਪੁਲਿਸ ਮਰੀਨ ਯੂਨਿਟ ਅਤੇ ਟੋਰਾਂਟੋ ਦੇ ਪੈਰਾਮੈਡਿਕਸ ਨੇ ਬੁੱਧਵਾਰ ਨੂੰ ਸਵੇਰੇ 12:10 ਵਜੇ ਤੋਂ ਥੋੜ੍ਹੀ ਦੇਰ ਬਾਅਦ, ਟੌਮੀ ਥੌਮਸਨ ਪਾਰਕ ਦੇ ਨੇੜੇ ਓਨਟਾਰੀਓ ਝੀਲ ਵਿੱਚ ਇੱਕ ਕਿਸ਼ਤੀ ਦੇ ਪਲਟਣ ਦੀਆਂ ਰਿਪੋਰਟਾਂ ਦਾ ਜਵਾਬ ਦਿੱਤਾ।
ਪੈਰਾਮੈਡਿਕਸ ਦੇ ਅਨੁਸਾਰ, ਅੱਠ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਪਾਣੀ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ ਬਾਹਰ ਕੱਢਿਆ ਗਿਆ ਅਤੇ ਇੱਕ ਵਿਅਕਤੀ ਨੂੰ ਮਾਮੂਲੀ ਸੱਟਾਂ ਨਾਲ ਹਸਪਤਾਲ ਲਿਜਾਇਆ ਗਿਆ।
ਕੋਈ ਹੋਰ ਸੱਟਾਂ ਦੀ ਰਿਪੋਰਟ ਨਹੀਂ ਕੀਤੀ ਗਈ।
ਪੁਲਿਸ ਮੌਕੇ ‘ਤੇ ਪਹੁੰਚ ਕੇ ਜਾਂਚ ਕਰ ਰਹੀ ਹੈ।
