-Delayed flights and passport wait times are not the only frustrations air travelers have to face these days. There are reports that some North American, including Air Canada, and European Airlines are failing to deliver checked luggage on arrival. People are advised to take pictures of their bags and suitcases and to keep luggage receipts until they have received them at their destinations.
-Commodity prices have started dropping in Canada after record high levels during the past month. Oil, metals, wood, and agriculture products (crops) are expected to be available for consumers a little cheaper in the coming months.However, Enbridge gas rates will increase up to 23.2 percent from July 1. An average Ontario consumer’s gas bill is expected to go up by around $25 per month.
-Toronto police arrested a man (31) and his dog during the weekend. The suspect allegedly committed street robberies (at least 4 incidents) with the help of his dog. Two victims were admitted to the hospital with dog bites. 5 people were shot, 2 died, in a restaurant and bar in Oshawa on Saturday (after midnight)

-ਟੋਰਾਂਟੋ ਪੁਲਿਸ ਨੇ ਵੀਕੈਂਡ ਦੌਰਾਨ ਇੱਕ ਵਿਅਕਤੀ (31) ਅਤੇ ਉਸਦੇ ਕੁੱਤੇ ਨੂੰ ਗ੍ਰਿਫਤਾਰ ਕੀਤਾ ਹੈ। ਸ਼ੱਕੀ ਨੇ ਕਥਿਤ ਤੌਰ ‘ਤੇ ਆਪਣੇ ਕੁੱਤੇ ਦੀ ਮਦਦ ਨਾਲ ਸੜਕਾਂ ‘ਤੇ ਡਕੈਤੀਆਂ (ਘੱਟੋ-ਘੱਟ 4 ਘਟਨਾਵਾਂ) ਕੀਤੀਆਂ। ਕੁੱਤੇ ਦੇ ਕੱਟਣ ਨਾਲ ਦੋ ਪੀੜਤਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਹਸਪਤਾਲ ਦਾਖਲ ਕਰਵਾਇਆ ਗਿਆ। ਸ਼ਨੀਵਾਰ (ਅੱਧੀ ਰਾਤ ਤੋਂ ਬਾਅਦ) ਓਸ਼ਾਵਾ ਦੇ ਇੱਕ ਰੈਸਟੋਰੈਂਟ ਅਤੇ ਬਾਰ ਵਿੱਚ 5 ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਗੋਲੀ ਮਾਰ ਦਿੱਤੀ ਗਈ, 2 ਦੀ ਮੌਤ ਹੋ ਗਈ।
-ਪ੍ਰਧਾਨ ਮੰਤਰੀ ਜਸਟਿਨ ਟਰੂਡੋ ਅਤੇ ਭਾਰਤ ਦੇ ਪ੍ਰਧਾਨ ਮੰਤਰੀ ਨਰਿੰਦਰ ਮੋਦੀ ਅੱਜ ਬਾਅਦ ਵਿੱਚ (ਲਗਭਗ 10 ਤੋਂ 15 ਮਿੰਟ ਲਈ) ਜਰਮਨੀ ਦੇ ਸ਼ਲੌਸ ਐਲਮਾਉ ਵਿੱਚ ਇੱਕ ਦੁਵੱਲੀ ਮੀਟਿੰਗ ਕਰਨਗੇ।
