(Satpal Singh Johal)- ਬਰੈਂਪਟਨ `ਚ ਗੱਡੀਆਂ ਦਾ ਰੌਲਾ, ਪੁਲਿਸ ਸਰਗਰਮ: Peel police launched its annual project ‘noisemaker’ on May 1, and the officers will continue to enforce the speed limit, curb aggressive/impaired driving, and a variety of other road safety measures during the summer in Brampton and Mississauga. Vehicle owners are asked to avoid altering factory-issued parts to produce noise. The target of the police’s project is to keep the sound of the vehicles on the roads within limits, especially in residential areas.
– 1 ਸਾਲ ਦੀ ਜੱਦੋਜਹਿਦ ਦਾ ਸਿੱਟਾ -After one year of Satpal Singh Johal’s direct advocacy to curb noise-making vehicles effectively, City of Brampton’s staff is reportedly recommending improvements in its by-laws, such as the Noise By-law; the Public Nuisance By-Law; and the Business Licensing By-law. They will also propose to the City Council to inform all licensed businesses in the city, that fall under business licensing by-laws, about changes to the by-laws, and remind the business owners of their responsibilities. Charging the vehicle owners is not enough to end noise on the roads. There must be consequences for those businesses and mechanics who alter the vehicles to make more noise, said Satpal Singh Johal.
