As the province prepares to relax all capacity limits in indoor settings this week, it has reported 19 additional virus-related deaths and almost 1,500 hospitalizations.
A Ministry of Health spokesperson says the latest deaths occurred over the past 24 days with one death yesterday, six on Feb.13 and four on Feb. 12.
In Ontario, 1,550 patients have been admitted to hospitals with the virus, up from 1,369 yesterday but down from 2,254 a week ago.
Three hundred and eighty-four people are in intensive care units, compared to 474 a week earlier.
Today, Ontario reported 1,593 lab-confirmed coronavirus infections, but experts think this number is likely underestimated owing to testing limitations.

ਓਨਟਾਰੀਓ ਵਿੱਚ ਇਸ ਵੇਲੇ 1,550 ਲੋਕ ਵਾਇਰਸ ਨਾਲ ਹਸਪਤਾਲ ਵਿੱਚ ਦਾਖਲ ਹਨ, ਜੋ ਕੱਲ੍ਹ 1,369 ਤੋਂ ਵੱਧ ਹਨ, ਪਰ ਇੱਕ ਹਫ਼ਤਾ ਪਹਿਲਾਂ 2,254 ਤੋਂ ਘੱਟ ਹਨ।

ਓਨਟਾਰੀਓ ਵਿੱਚ ਅੱਜ 1,593 ਲੈਬ-ਪੁਸ਼ਟੀ ਕੀਤੇ ਕੋਰੋਨਵਾਇਰਸ ਕੇਸਾਂ ਦੀ ਰਿਪੋਰਟ ਕੀਤੀ ਗਈ, ਪਰ ਸਿਹਤ ਅਧਿਕਾਰੀਆਂ ਦਾ ਕਹਿਣਾ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਟੈਸਟਿੰਗ ਪਾਬੰਦੀਆਂ ਕਾਰਨ ਇਹ ਇੱਕ ਘੱਟ ਅਨੁਮਾਨ ਹੈ।
