In the early hours of Friday morning, Russian missiles hit Lviv airport in western Ukraine, injuring one person.
Around 6 a.m. local time, air raid sirens sounded across the city as a plume of smoke billowed out of the direction of Lviv Danylo Halytskyi International Airport.
Four missiles targeted an aircraft repair facility at the airport, according to a senior military officer in Lviv, while two other missiles were shot down by the Ukrainian Armed Forces.
