ਬਰੈਂਪਟਨ: ਪੂਰਬੀ ਸਿਰੇ ਵਿੱਚ ਨਵੇਂ ਕਬੱਡੀ ਮੈਦਾਨ ਦੀ ਪੜਚੋਲ
Brampton, ON – At its April 13th Committee meeting, Members of Council unanimously supported Regional Councillor Gurpreet Singh Dhillon’s request for staff to identify a new Kabaddi field in Brampton’s east end.
Staff were directed to identify new or existing parklands that could be converted to a permanent Kabaddi field that would also accommodate parking, temporary stands, washrooms, and team areas.
“Kabaddi is one of the most popular sports in Brampton, and ensuring that we are able to provide new facilities, is important,” said Councillor Dhillon. He said,“The construction of this field will increase the number of local tournaments, as well as being more accessible for the city’s east end residents.”
Councillor Dhillon said,“It is my goal to ensure our residents are engaging in physical activity, and sports is an important way to
keep our youth on the right track. I look forward to the report coming back very soon.”

ਸਟਾਫ ਨੂੰ ਹਦਾਇਤ ਕੀਤੀ ਗਈ ਸੀ ਕਿ ਉਹ ਨਵੇਂ ਜਾਂ ਮੌਜੂਦਾ ਪਾਰਕਲੈਂਡਾਂ ਦੀ ਪਛਾਣ ਕਰਨ ਜਿਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਸਥਾਈ ਕਬੱਡੀ ਮੈਦਾਨ ਵਿੱਚ ਤਬਦੀਲ ਕੀਤਾ ਜਾ ਸਕਦਾ ਹੈ ਜਿਸ ਵਿੱਚ ਪਾਰਕਿੰਗ, ਅਸਥਾਈ ਸਟੈਂਡ, ਵਾਸ਼ਰੂਮ ਅਤੇ ਟੀਮ ਖੇਤਰ ਵੀ ਸ਼ਾਮਲ ਹੋਣਗੇ।
“ਕਬੱਡੀ ਬਰੈਂਪਟਨ ਵਿੱਚ ਸਭ ਤੋਂ ਪ੍ਰਸਿੱਧ ਖੇਡਾਂ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ ਇੱਕ ਹੈ, ਅਤੇ ਇਹ ਯਕੀਨੀ ਬਣਾਉਣਾ ਕਿ ਅਸੀਂ ਨਵੀਆਂ ਸਹੂਲਤਾਂ ਪ੍ਰਦਾਨ ਕਰਨ ਦੇ ਯੋਗ ਹਾਂ, ਮਹੱਤਵਪੂਰਨ ਹੈ,” ਕੌਂਸਲਰ ਢਿੱਲੋਂ ਨੇ ਕਿਹਾ। ਉਸਨੇ ਕਿਹਾ, “ਇਸ ਮੈਦਾਨ ਦੇ ਨਿਰਮਾਣ ਨਾਲ ਸਥਾਨਕ ਟੂਰਨਾਮੈਂਟਾਂ ਦੀ ਗਿਣਤੀ ਵਿੱਚ ਵਾਧਾ ਹੋਵੇਗਾ, ਨਾਲ ਹੀ ਮੈਦਾਨ ਸ਼ਹਿਰ ਦੇ ਪੂਰਬੀ ਸਿਰੇ ਦੇ ਨਿਵਾਸੀਆਂ ਲਈ ਵਧੇਰੇ ਪਹੁੰਚਯੋਗ ਹੋਵੇਗਾ।”
ਕੌਂਸਲਰ ਢਿੱਲੋਂ ਨੇ ਕਿਹਾ, “ਇਹ ਯਕੀਨੀ ਬਣਾਉਣਾ ਮੇਰਾ ਟੀਚਾ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਸਾਡੇ ਵਸਨੀਕ ਸਰੀਰਕ ਗਤੀਵਿਧੀਆਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਸ਼ਾਮਲ ਹੋਣ, ਅਤੇ ਖੇਡਾਂ ਇੱਕ ਮਹੱਤਵਪੂਰਨ ਤਰੀਕਾ ਹੈ। ਸਾਡੇ ਨੌਜਵਾਨਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਸਹੀ ਰਸਤੇ ‘ਤੇ ਰੱਖੋ। ਮੈਂ ਬਹੁਤ ਜਲਦੀ ਰਿਪੋਰਟ ਆਉਣ ਦੀ ਉਡੀਕ ਕਰ ਰਿਹਾ ਹਾਂ। ”
