-Anyone 16 years of age and older and has a Canadian social insurance number (SIN), can apply to become a paid election official for the provincial election in Ontario. -Application process begins here: https://jobs.elections.on.ca/en/apply
-For the upcoming provincial election, Elections Ontario has opened its online portal for eligible voters to register for a ballot by mail. A ballot can be requested until May 27 by 6 pm. The voters will get 10 days to vote in advance (in-person) for the June 2 provincial election.
-Advance voting will begin on May 19 and May 28 will be the last day. The polling stations will open from 10 am to 8pm. The voters can already vote, until June 1, in their local returning office.
-Peel police arrested and charged 5 suspects, including Navdeep Chauhan (Brampton) and Arshjot Singh (Caledon), for vehicle thefts in Mississauga and Brampton.

-ਐਡਵਾਂਸ ਵੋਟਿੰਗ 19 ਮਈ ਨੂੰ ਸ਼ੁਰੂ ਹੋਵੇਗੀ ਅਤੇ 28 ਮਈ ਨੂੰ ਆਖਰੀ ਦਿਨ ਹੋਵੇਗਾ। ਪੋਲਿੰਗ ਸਟੇਸ਼ਨ ਸਵੇਰੇ 10 ਵਜੇ ਤੋਂ ਸ਼ਾਮ 8 ਵਜੇ ਤੱਕ ਖੁੱਲ੍ਹਣਗੇ। ਵੋਟਰ ਪਹਿਲਾਂ ਹੀ 1 ਜੂਨ ਤੱਕ ਆਪਣੇ ਸਥਾਨਕ ਰਿਟਰਨਿੰਗ ਦਫ਼ਤਰ ਵਿੱਚ ਵੋਟ ਪਾ ਸਕਦੇ ਹਨ।
