ISKCON MILTON celebrates the opening of its Temple in MILTON located at 410 Bronte St South, Unit # 202 & 203.
ISKCON MILTON is part of ‘The International Society for Krishna Consciousness (ISKCON)’ also known as the Hare Krishna movement. It includes more than five hundred major centers, temples and rural communities, a wide variety of community projects including FOOD FOR LIFE, and millions of congregational members from many countries worldwide. Although for about fifty years on the global stage, ISKCON has expanded widely since its founding in 1966.
ISKCON’s founder, A. C. Bhaktivedanta Swami Srila Prabhupada, has drawn appreciation from scholars and religious leaders alike for his remarkable achievement in presenting India’s Vaishnava spiritual culture in a relevant manner to contemporary Western and worldwide audiences. He has also written number of books which are published in over 50 languages and distributed around the world.
The Founder Acarya of the Hare Krishna Movement, Srila Prabhupada started the “Sunday Love Feast” in 1966. Since then, this is celebrated in all the Hare Krishna Temples and Centres around the world.
