– ਤਾਮਿਲ ਹੈਰੀਟੇਜ ਮੰਥ ਜਾਰੀ: During Tamil Heritage Month, schools across Brampton, Mississauga, and Caledon are participating in the activities to recognize heritage, history, culture, and contributions of Tamil community for Canada.
– ਕੈਨੇਡਾ `ਚ ਤਨਖਾਹ ਦੇ ਵਾਧੇ ਬਾਰੇ: The minimum wage in some Canadian provinces will increase during 2023. Nova Scotia will raise the hourly wage (by 70 cents) to $14.30 on April 1, and another 35 cents (to $14.65) on Oct. 1. The wage will rise in Manitoba by 65 cents to $14.15 from April 1, and it will touch to $15 on Oct. 1. Saskatchewan will increase the minimum wage a full $1, from $13 to $14 on Oct. 1. Prince Edward Island (PEI) has already raised its minimum wage by 80 cents to $14.50 on Jan. 1. It will go up another 50 cents to $15 on Oct. 1. Newfoundland and Labrador will add 80 cents to the minimum wage and bring it to $14.50 on April 1. On Oct. 1, The province will also implement another increase of 50 cents to make it $15/hour.
– ਬਰੈਂਪਟਨ `ਚ ਗੱਡੀਆਂ ਦੀ ਚੋਰੀ ਜੋਰਾਂ `ਤੇ: Around 100 Vehicles have already been reported stolen in Brampton and Mississauga during the first week of 2023. 9439 vehicles were reported stolen in Toronto last year which is a jump of around 45 percent from 2021. Toronto Police Service records say that vehicle theft has gone up every year since 2018.
