(Satpal Singh Johal) -ਗਰਮੀ ਤੋਂ ਬਚ ਕੇ: Based on Environment Canada’s advisory, a Heat Warning has been issued by Peel Public Health for Brampton, Mississauga, and Caledon. The warning will be in effect until further notice.
-ਰਾਹਤ ਲਈ ਸੁਝਾਅ: For relief, the City of Brampton’s splash pads are now open 9 am – 9 pm. Residents are encouraged to restrict outdoor activity. It is also advised that the public stay out of the sun, drink lots of water, and stay in air-conditioned places or shaded areas.
-ਬਜੁਰਗਾਂ ਦਾ ਖਿਆਲ ਰੱਖਣਾ: Seniors, children, and Pets are particularly at risk, and residents are encouraged to check on them from time to time.
-ਰਾਹਤ ਠੀਕ ਹੈ ਪਰ ਡੁੱਬਣਾ ਨਹੀਂ: Be safe in the water, especially on the beach, in lakes or rivers. Never swim alone, always keep children within arms’ reach around the water, and put a life jacket in the pool or at the beach. Additionally, choose lifeguard-supervised beaches and pools for swimming, and Control access to backyard pools with fencing on all sides. Happy Summer!
