(Satpal Singh Johal) -It is day 102 of 2022, Toronto police issued over 21000 tickets until March 31 (during 90 days) to the drivers for speeding in the city. 32 speeders were charged yesterday under the ‘speed kills’ campaign. The campaign will last until April 17.
-10 pedestrians (most of them were seniors) have been killed on the roads in Toronto during the past 100 days.
-Preparations are underway to dispatch Kartik Vasudev’s remains from Toronto to Gaziabad (UP), where Vasudev’s family will perform his cremations. Kartik (21) was shot and killed by an unidentified shooter in the city on Friday.
-Era of gasoline is to fade out in this country during the next decade. Canada to have 100 percent Zero-emission Vehicles (ZEV) on the roads by 2035. ZEV buyers are offered an incentive of $5000 by the federal government.
-Peel police arrested and charged Harjot Gill (24) of Brampton with illegal weapon charges. He allegedly pointed a shotgun at a female (20) during an altercation at home last Sunday.

-ਅਗਲੇ ਦਹਾਕੇ ਦੌਰਾਨ ਇਸ ਦੇਸ਼ ਵਿੱਚ ਗੈਸੋਲੀਨ ਦਾ ਯੁੱਗ ਖ਼ਤਮ ਹੋਣ ਵਾਲਾ ਹੈ। ਕੈਨੇਡਾ ਵਿੱਚ 2035 ਤੱਕ ਸੜਕਾਂ ‘ਤੇ 100 ਪ੍ਰਤੀਸ਼ਤ ਜ਼ੀਰੋ-ਐਮਿਸ਼ਨ ਵਹੀਕਲ (ZEV) ਹੋਣਗੇ। ZEV ਖਰੀਦਦਾਰਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਸੰਘੀ ਸਰਕਾਰ ਦੁਆਰਾ $5000 ਦੀ ਪ੍ਰੋਤਸਾਹਨ ਦੀ ਪੇਸ਼ਕਸ਼ ਹੈ।
