ਇੰਡਸਟਰੀ ਵਿਸ਼ਲੇਸ਼ਕ ਡੈਨ ਮੈਕਟੀਗ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਖੁਲਾਸਾ ਕੀਤਾ ਗਿਆ ਕਿ ਇਸ ਹਫਤੇ ਓਨਟਾਰੀਓ ਵਿੱਚ ਗੈਸ ਦੀਆਂ ਕੀਮਤਾਂ 10 ਸੈਂਟ ਤੱਕ ਵੱਧ ਸਕਦੀਆਂ ਹਨ ।
GTA ਵਿੱਚ ਇਸ ਸਮੇਂ ਪ੍ਰਤੀ ਲੀਟਰ ਗੈਸ ਦੀ ਕੀਮਤ 152·9 ਸੈਂਟ ਹੈ। ਮੈਕਟੀਗ ਨੇ ਆਖਿਆ ਕਿ ਇਸ ਦੇ ਬੁੱਧਵਾਰ ਰਾਤ ਨੂੰ 162·9 ਸੈਂਟ ਪ੍ਰਤੀ ਲੀਟਰ ਤੱਕ ਹੋਣ ਦੀ ਸੰਭਾਵਨਾ ਹੈ।
ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਆਖਿਆ ਕਿ ਇਹ ਵਾਧਾ ਪਿਛਲੇ ਹਫਤੇ ਪੱਛਮੀ ਤੱਟ ਵਿੱਚ ਗੈਸ ਦੀਆਂ ਕੀਮਤਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਹੋਏ ਵਾਧੇ ਤੋਂ ਬਾਅਦ ਹੋਇਆ।
ਸ਼ੁੱਕਰਵਾਰ ਨੂੰ ਮੈਟਰੋ ਵੈਨਕੂਵਰ ਵਿੱਚ ਗੈਸ ਦੀਆਂ ਕੀਮਤਾਂ ਕੁੱਝ ਸਟੇਸ਼ਨਾਂ ਉੱਤੇ 241·9 ਸੈਂਟ ਤੱਕ ਪਹੁੰਚ ਗਈਆਂ ਹਨ।
ਦੂਜੇ ਸੂਬਿਆਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਵੀ ਗੈਸ ਦੀਆਂ ਕੀਮਤਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਵਾਧਾ ਕੀਤਾ ਗਿਆ ਹੈ।
Dan McTeague revealed that gas prices in Ontario could rise by up to 10 cents this week.
The price of gas per liter in the GTA is currently 152·9 cents. McTeague said it was expected to rise to 162·9 cents a liter on Wednesday night.
He said the increase followed last week’s increase in gas prices on the West Coast.
Gas prices in Metro Vancouver on Friday reached 241·9 cents at some stations.
Gas prices have also been hiked in other provinces.
